I like strawberry.
I find it ironic Safari is just a poor performer, especially after steve jobs told flash to fuck off, and to go towards HTML5. He seems to have a hardtime accepting technologies outside the proprietary world of Apple.

you do realise that Steve Jobs isn't the only employee of Apple, right?
you do realise that Steve Jobs isn't the only employee of Apple, right?
Do doubt that he isn't. All the employees are already absorbed into Mr. Jobs rectum or black turtleneck sweatshirt.
I wonder if we will get to the point where the CPU becomes an almost not used part because everything is then using the GPU.
Someone has no idea how CPU/GPU computing works. They're two different processors optimized for different tasks. Things that can be massively parallelized, such as decoding video, are a great thing to move to the GPU, while other common operations aren't feasible and in many cases aren't possible to move to the GPU.
Unless really big changes take place (highly highly unlikely), the two are here to stay as discrete (logically, not necessarily physically) units for the foreseeable future.
I'm sticking with Minefield; the Tab Groups feature can't be beat, especially for someone who browses Tvtropes.

I've always been partial to chocolate cherry.
I use IE.
Yeah IE9 ain't too bad, wish they'd release that shit and get the share up.
What was the last version you used? 6?
No. I'm using the latest one.
Chrome is 1000x faster.

1000x?! ~~whoa~~
I don't care what MS deals out, I'm not using fucking IE.
Opera all the way for me
IE9 is a real freakin' embarrassment. Doesn't display shit properly.

Embarrassment? No, IE 1-8 are embarrassments.
Microsoft sucks.
Right on man hey you worried about y2k?
I use FF, but I like IE better. Problem is- last time they updated the thing there was a bug that caused it to slow down and stop allowing me to hit the back button. It seems to only have this issue on my computer, not any others that I have tried. So I use FF.
i'm probably going to switch off firefox in a bit. Every update i become more and more annoyed at it's "improved" performance. I'm getting choppy video and sometimes flash fucks up and leaves an image from the video im watching over the page until i navigate away from it.
None of that happens when i use chrome.
With IE9 Microsoft finally figured out what the fuck they are doing. A much nicer chrome and infinitely better support for new standards such as HTML5 and CSS3. I still prefer Chrome, but if I see someone using IE9, I won't go to great lengths to make them switch.

Totally irrelevant.

Third post in thread, completely useless post flaming a company without even so much as an intelligent reason given.
Why does this happen

Don't know about it being an embarassment, but I definitely do prefer Opera. I used to use firefox, but Opera being faster and automatically syncing my bookmarks means it takes the cake for me.
Keeps looking more and more promising.
I tried IE9 but facepunch fucked up so I went back to firefox
Browsers need to assimilate those 10 pixels or so on the top displaying the page title and the - [] x buttons so that there isn't fucking empty space everywhere

I personally enjoy IE9...
As "hipster" as this may sound. It is really, for the best of security, to go with the software with LESS market share. Conformity is dangerous in the IT world
