Maybe I'm just reading wrong but all you guys seem to be assuming that they search your computers. It mentions nowhere that they would search your computer. They won't search you unless they have a decent suspicion and/or reason to search you. Any rate if I remember right didn't the American government bring in a law that allows customs and border patrols to search any computer, iPad, etc without reason?

Interestingly enough, bullets do not set off metal detectors at Ho Chi Minh, Singapore (massive clusterfuck of an airport) or Brisbane. It's just got an attachment point and chain glued onto the end. Still pretty alarming that it wasn't even noticed.

I doubt it was a live bullet. You'd have to be fucking stupid to carry a live bullet around your neck incase it goes off. Especially if it was made in Vietnam. With an attachment / hole in it.

The round has a brass attachment point glued onto the end, so it's near impossible for anything to strike the primer with enough force to set it off. Though there's the possibility of it 'cooking off' in extreme heat.
