kesha
FP, everybody!!
ba-dum kssshhhhh
This is gonna be huge.
No they are capable of limiting their behavior like everyone else.
That doesn't change the fact that they have an unusual desire to have sex with children Bobie. This is what you're missing in-between your attempted mockery. Cool your jets and read the damn study.
A pedophile is as capable of not acting on his desire to rape kids as I am not acting on my desire to eat a cheeseburger. That doesn't change the fact that "pedo is pedo 4 brain reason".
This is the point you're ignoring because you are trying so hard to be right and clever. Just admit you're wrong and we can all move on.
Are you seriously trying to argue that some people should be vilified because of something they have no control over?
If they are totally able to control themselves as much as anyone else, then why does it matter that they're a paedophile?
Once you start advocating discrimination against people due to relatively minor differences in brain chemistry, you're on a particular path which can not go anywhere good.
asylums are for people who are unable to function within any aspect of society
paedophiles can clearly function without being molesters, provided with the correct intervention.
That doesn't require rehabilitation though. In a few rare cases maybe. Essentially when dealing with peadophiles who have a mental fault of attraction to children you have 3 possible groups
a) those that manage to control themselves (or hide it incredibly well)
b) those that are unable or unwilling to control themselves
c) those who were unable to, but haveundergone chemical castration or another different treatment which makes them able to control.
Keep in mind this is for peadophiles which would be peadophiles no matter the situation.
I'd strongly assume that a lot of examples of pedos are in fact people who would not be them under normal circumstances. The common case of catholic priests come to mind.
-snip-
maybe pedos should be forced to wear shirts that say "i want to rape your children" in big neon writing and then when people see them they will be murdered to death and everything will be happy the end
What a magical world you must live in.
What a magical world you must live in.
I was being ironic
It is not someone for the current government or the opposition. It is a senior Conservative figure from the Thatcher years. His name was not revealed in the programme.
They're not giving names...
[editline]2nd November 2012[/editline]
Sounds like the Tory spin doctor must have had a word with them.
Was there really much point in hyping this up if they were not going to give a name?
Well how lame
Was there really much point in hyping this up if they were not going to give a name?
They didn't, its hard than just saying a name and if its true it'll come to light eventually anyway.
Looks like if you fiddle you expenses you get ripped to shreds, but if you fiddle a child you get protected.

I wasn't saying Newsnight hyped it up; instead why was this top story?
Why did this cause such an interest if there are no names? Is it to stir up public pressure in order for someone else to re-investigate it?

Mr McShane commits repeated and intentional fraud for huge amounts of taxpayers money and gets a slap on the wrist.
General member of the public posts something rude on twitter and gets 6 months in jail.

well i guess then it's true that Thatcher's administration has fucked children in more ways than one

There's a school milk joke here somewhere, but I cannot find it.
Well, that's the first time I've ever heard the phrase "fresh paedophile storm".
That sounds fucking terrifying.
