not thrown a flashbang and not shot the 7 year old immediately after lobbing it

Refrain from murdering unarmed sleeping minors

Cased the house, waited for him to leave, known who lived there and shit, pulled him over, searched empty house after nicely getting the family out.
Would have taken two officers a few days at most, lot less cost than the life of a child.
It's shit that it happened, but A) she shouldn't have gone for his weapon and B) He should have had it pointed in a safe direction. It's sad that it happened and it's a costly lesson in firearms safety but I don't see why everyone thinks he's some horrible killbot. I'm sure he feels like total shit right now. Disciplinary action is what's needed, not bloodlust. Negligent manslaughter seems more appropriate than full-on voluntary murder.

read the fucking thread
she DIDN'T go for his weapon.. she wasn't even near him.
the officer fired immediately after the flashbang was thrown.. which means he was outside when the shot was fired.

I did read the thread, you ranted for four pages. Nobody in here provided proof that he shot from outside the house or that she never went for him.
I'm not even trying to argue with you jesus get the sand out of your mangina

video isn't going to be released to public when they're still investigating brohound
attorney viewed it and said that the shot was fired immediately after the flashbang
regardless, this was a botched raid. it was completely unnecessary to use a flashbang when they knew children were in the house.

good one.. how old are you?

no shit, hence the reason I'm not going off of that, it isn't proof of anything
my point was that people fucked up.

uh yes, it's proof.. the attorney and police are reviewing it.
and yes people fuck up but they still need to be accountable for their actions. especially when it's police killing a 7 year old.

Hence the reason I reccomended disciplinary action, i.e suspension from the force. If he had run in and made a scene about killing a 7 year old, yes, he would deserve everything a lot of people are wishing on him, but if he fucked up and it wasn't his intention to kill a 7 year old, then dismissal and a charge with involuntary manslaughter doesn't seem unreasonable.
I'd say the same if it was anyone, if you kill someone you need to be held responsible but killing someone you didn't intend to is different from killing someone intentionally.

And I can't argue using something I haven't seen. So once (if) the video is viewable by the public, then I will know.
That's like claiming that a congressional bill you've never read has a portion in it which bans breathing

suspension? that's it? a 7 year old girl is dead..

we'll see when it's released.. I never implied that we should just accept what the attorney said.

no, not really

Losing his line of work, being charged with involuntary manslaughter and having that kind of emotional burden on his shoulders isn't enough?
People get mentally fucked up when they end up shooting adults in the same situations, after killing a child he's going to have some pretty major mental problems for the rest of his life.
Losing his line of work, being charged with involuntary manslaughter and having that kind of emotional burden on his shoulders isn't enough?
all you said was suspension, which has nothing to do with legal charges such as manslaughter.
all you said was suspension, which has nothing to do with legal charges such as manslaughter.
I edited that with the qualifying bit afterward because I suppose I didn't make it clear earlier. I'm not saying that the trial needs to be suspended and he needs a slap on the wrist, I'm saying that A) I don't agree with the stance that he needs to be shot / charged with voluntary manslaughter / beaten to death for it and B) in the future we need to start training police in firearms safety so they know not to point a weapon at something you don't intend to shoot.
It's awful that it happened, but an eye for an eye shouldn't apply in this case. Involuntary Manslaughter / indefinite suspension for the cop and in the future, a greater focus on proper firearms safety for police forces.

I don't think anyone said he should be shot or beaten to death.
If his actions qualify as manslaughter then he should be charged with it. No one should be above the law.

Yes, but there's a difference between voluntary and involuntary manslaughter, and in this case unless they provide evidence to the contrary it was the latter.
From what's been presented, the officer in question didn't kill her out of malice, he killed her because he had a poor sense of what was going on and how to act in the situation.
god the police cocksucking in this thread is amazing
this whole belief that the cops can do no wrong and the homeowner is at fault is ridiculous
jdk721, keep fighting the good fight
This is becoming a common thing.
First two caged dogs shot to death, now a poor seven year old.
What the fuck is up with these trigger happy police officers?
if they weren't criminals they wouldn't have searched their house in the first place so it's their fault
Picture this:
You're sleeping, when out of fucking nowhere a stun grenade goes off in your house. Then you hear your door being kicked in. My first thought in this situation would be "Holy fuck am I dreaming?" followed by "OH SHIT SOMEONE JUST BROKE INTO MY HOUSE!" The police caused the chaotic situation here and it was their responsibility to control it, which they failed to do.
This, Wonky says what I would say.

That's bullshit. You don't accidentally do that shit.

He could have (probably) panicked and blind-fired into the house.
