So is that 'Seats Won' thing on the ABC a predicted vote, or the current vote?
If we go back the greens would get a huge boost. [editline]2nd July 2016[/editline]
So is that 'Seats Won' thing on the ABC a predicted vote, or the current vote?
Predicted
So is that 'Seats Won' thing on the ABC a predicted vote, or the current vote?
Predicted, but its closer to actual now as more votes have been counted
I don't think any party will form a minority
Liberal wont form a minority government, its against how they are set up.
Liberal wont form a minority government, its against how they are set up.
which means we're going back to the polls
67 - 64 to LNP now. Farout, this is close.
what are the senate predictions?
what are the senate predictions?
:hypeisnotreal:
:hypeisnotreal:
okay that's Queensland but what about the rest of Australia
I'd hate to be the people who have to count the fucking senate voting ballots, especially if someone voted 12+ below the line.
Morrison: large amount of prepolls coming in soon [editline]2nd July 2016[/editline] BATMAN MAY STILL GO TO THE GREENS - ABC
When do the pre-polls roll in.. Considering they account for, what, ~27% of the vote.
Labour room is cheering Shorten like he's Bill Nye the Science Guy.
When do the pre-polls roll in.. Considering they account for, what, ~27% of the vote.
Morrison didnt give a proper time frame but ill imagine they'll be released in the next hour
Not a really empowering speech from Shorten.
I stopped paying attention for about an hour, what's happening? Especially with the labour celebrations on ABC, have they won or something?
Not a really empowering speech from Shorten.
When has he ever given a really empowering speech?
it's shorten, what you expecting, a JFK/Lincoln tier speech
I stopped paying attention for about an hour, what's happening? Especially with the labour celebrations on ABC, have they won or something?
Election is now too close to call and a possibility of a hung parliament is becoming more and more...well, possible.
When has he ever given a really empowering speech?
The 2016 budget response was savage.
a hung parliament .
Which means what? I'm pretty clueless when it comes to Australian politics
Which means what? I'm pretty clueless when it comes to Australian politics
when neither party has a majority and cannot form a minority
Which means what? I'm pretty clueless when it comes to Australian politics
If a party cannot form a majority (76 seats) in the lower house (150 seats), then they will have to form a minority government through support of independents and other minor parties. It's a hung parliament until this minority government is formed. If a minority government cannot be formed, then we go back to vote. 2010 is a prime example, given it was the first since 1940.
Not a really empowering speech from Shorten.
it had nothing on rudd's "we didn't get completely annihilated" speech
it had nothing on rudd's "we didn't get completely annihilated" speech
I recall him crying during that speech.

i fucking love abc24 right now, theyre so fucking tired and laughing over nothing
A double disillusion election resulting in a hung parliament. That'd be one for the history books.
