STABILITY.[/QUOTE] I myself preferenced the Coalition in front of Labor because I was absolutely appalled at Labor's vicious and, in some cases (Medicare privatisation claim) absolutely dishonest campaign. I am not going to support scare campaigning. The only ads I saw by the Liberals were of Turnbull in front of a camera telling his plan for if he returned to government, whereas almost every ad I've seen by Labor were all 'don't vote for Malcolm because he'll do this and that' with scary background sounds, and no actual Labor policy. There were other matters for me such as I believe Labor's negative gearing plans would harm state stamp duty revenues, which would inevitably lead to an increase in GST base or rate, especially as the Premiers are already calling for GST reform right now.

Also, take it from someone who works in the energy industry: renewable energy targets both won't work and will just drive up electricity prices further damaging what every manufacturing sector we have left.
