Dutton is screwed if it goes to preferences.

I sure hope so. The greens & a lot of environmentalists have been campaigning hard up here and many of his constituents seem to be irked this guys lack of any emotion at all or even compassion for his constituents.
Tasmania has been fucked over completely recently, not a surprising swing.
I really, really hope that Dutton goes. But it is bad news for turnbull that briggs is going and wyatt roy is going because they are part of his faction - particularly when george christensen has safely won his seat and no news yet of bernardi and abetz.

Labor has won Longman. This is good news I thought for sure the LNP would win it.

Is there a single post your avatar doesn't just work for?

One of the polling booths in Bruce had a swing of 5%, so the scrutineers demanded a recount.
Ahahaha, love it
WA results will be interesting because we normally vote Liberal but lately our Liberal state government have been a pile of shits that wasted the mining money.
kinda sad Roy is departing, while young he was a major voice for the young voters especially those in young libs
he would make a great future PM if he gets re-elected next time + wins LNP leadership

I don't know about that... some speculate that he was a part of Ashbygate. If that's true there goes his credibility.

The loss of wyatt roy and jamie briggs is bad news for turnbull. They were instrumental in bringing him to power and when you lose them, but you retain conservatives ie george christensen who won his seat, it means the right faction has more power in the LNP. This is bad for turnbull as a left faction minister
BATMAN
ALP and GRN tied 50%

for sure, i can see a leadership spill either way this election goes
he will not have the support anymore from the liberal side of liberals
Barry Cassidy is wrong with calling it to LNP now
I completely agree. Some new seats in WA and in QLD are contention for the ALP, maybe more if you include NSW.
Guys im getting a bit nervous.

13 other seats up for grabs (?)
[editline]2nd July 2016[/editline]
guys i dont think either parties can form majority at this rate
Its going to be minority coalition. Calling it early but I think hung parliament is almost confirmed at this point, and I think that regardless of this coalition will return

Where'd you get the 13's?
i'll admit i snicker at the words "hung parliament"
nice to see labour is recovering though. maybe they'll actually win
Liberal gets in and cannot do anything because it does not want to negotiate with minorities(which it shouldn't have to)
Or Labor gets in by sucking the dick of minor parties.
how are the greens doing my friends
Australians have voted for a bunch of fucking idiots once again. God fucking damn it, shows me for having faith in the Australian people.

ABC, i cant tell remaining seats
how are the greens doing my friends
1 confirmed retain in melbourne. While it looked likely for them to win another seat, I don't think it will happen. Maybe next election for the greens.
You have to applaud the NXT though. How long did it take greens to win a lower house seat? NXT won a lower house seat on their first election as a party. Amazing work

seems like every country is doing this somehow, i dont think australians are uniquely stupid.
all people are

They might win 2 or 3 seats if they're really lucky. Good thing too.
