Daniel Craig is a cool dude but I don't think he should have been chosen for bond, and I think the tone and new direction of the bond movies kind of ruins what bond is about IMO. I want to see another suave corny 60s style bond again please. With interesting villans and henchmen and all of that.
Did you see Skyfall? It had one of the best villains in the franchise.

jesus fuck what happened
I thought his death was pretty badly done.
Daniel Craig is more like Bond from the book, will shoot you first and ask questions second - Pierce was the polar opposite for Bond, charming, sophisticated and loved to hear his own voice.
Daniel is the far more realistic bond that Ian Fleming was going for.
The only picture that got to me there was the one where the dude kicked that person into the train.
Wow those were some nice gifs to see.
Anyway that's a really nice thing for Daniel Craig to do.
Brosnan was definately one of the best if not the best looking bonds, next to Connery
best Bond was Roger Moore
I regret nothing

We should shoot you then ask why later :v:
pretty much every Bond movie has had amazing soundtracks!
I'd have to disagree with Die Another Day
All the bonds have different ups and downs to them, Roger moore is comedy, Timothy dalton is serious and so forth. Can't really compare them.
My favorite bond is still Pierce Brosnan, but Daniel Craig ain't a bad actor.
I miss the Gentleman Agent, but as said above he does a good job in his own way too.
pierce brosnan? really? I think connery and craig are the best bonds.
I always notice no one says Timothy Dalton was the best Bond in these sorts of threads. :v:
I do think Brosnan and Craig are my personal favourites.
Oh, please.

tim dalton was awesome, shame he only did 2 films.
Not really anything wrong with pierce brosnan, its just with the exception of goldeneye all the films he was in were terrible.
I mean like has anyone dropped the nostalgia goggles and watched "the world is not enough" recently? Lmao that film is a piece of shit.
Someone tell me what was so pussy about Brosnan

I think Craig brings a whole new sense of depth to the character which I absolutely love, There's definitely some emotionial scenes in Skyfall which I could never imagine Brosnan doing.

I watched it, also Golden Eye had Sean Bean in it.

when he actually says "The World Is Not Enough" it makes me giggle :3
I need to rewatch the Brosnan films, not seen them since I was a kid. I remember thinking "Oh no, Sebernya!" I don't know where that is, but it's a crater now. Stuff like Xenia went right over my young head.
Roger Moore was my favourite Bond, but honestly I like all of them. The only thing I don't like about Craig is how he doesn't really have the same "majesty" as the others, he doesn't move his eyebrowns or show emotions as much as the others, he has a much harder look. I haven't seen Skyfall yet but this is what I think from watching the other two.
ITT: We discuss who are favorite Bond is.
Myself, I prefer Dalton.
Anyone else reckon Sean Connery has gotten better with age?
i think 007's a code name anyway so i don't see them as one person by different actors.
Skyfall kind of ruins that theory.
I loved them all, but Broanan was who I grew up with and played a fantastic bond in Goldeneye, which is one of my favourite films. And Dalton played the most Bond-like bond. He was tough, smart, suave and funny. And then Craig is my favourite, he just did Skyfall so well!
Daniel Craig has a leg-up on Brosnan, he got called 007 by the Queen herself.

I really like the way the new bond films are being taken. the realism shows more of a badass side of bond seeing how he can take a hit and keep going like a tank and that he isn't invincible but will eventually win. though I think the story behind the older films are a little bit better because they could go crazy with the different situations while the newer ones are " maybe this can be plausible in a few years"
I think he's done a great job of redefining bond
Pierce has his own shtick. Daniel Craig is a bit more like the bond from the books
Daniel Craig and Sean Connery are the best Bonds
Craig, Connery and Dalton are my favorites. Connery, of course the man who created Bond as a movie character and IMO the best, but Dalton and Craig are more like the Ian Fleming Bond.
My logic, as stolen from someone on another forums
Hands down Pierce Brosnan. He was the Bond i grew up with. And like all James bond movies he presumably has sex with the Bond girl at one point or another, whether on screen or not. He was with Halle Berry in Die Another Day. Did Sean Connery bang Halle Berry? He did not. Case closed.
