My logic, as stolen from someone on another forums
I like him because "time to face gravity"
My logic, as stolen from someone on another forums
Did Sean Connery bang Halle Berry? He did not. But he did bang: Ursula Andress, Daniela Binachi, Shirley Eaton and of course Kim Basinger. Plus whoever else I've forgotten. Who cares about Halle Berry?

yeah you've ruined that poster for me, thanks.
Oh, please. Best looking bond/all bonds.
I think people like Brosnan more because he has a sort of innocent look and it's the kind of person you don't expect to cause problems. It's like Dexter (the psychopath). Craig looks like someone you would think twice before pissing off. I think both are good 007's and the problem is probably that the first movies that Craig did were probably made with Brosnan in mind and after switching actors it didn't mix well.

Cannot be unseen you bastard Also I never said Craig was worse than Brosnan in any way.
I dunno, I enjoyed Casino Royale quite a bit. Quantum of Solace was lousy to me though.
I guess it has to do with the fact that I grew up with Brosnan and he said he was going to do two more films but didn't and nostalgia.

How would've casino royale, a story about a newly promoted 00 bond, worked with an actor who was pushing 50 something?? Casino Royale worked great, I haven't seen Skyfall yet, but without a doubt I'd say Casino Royale is easily the best film in the entire series. Quantum of Solace sucked because welp, writers strike. Virtually everything during the writers strike blew ass.
Casino Royale worked great, I haven't seen Skyfall yet.
They're both really different, although I prefer Skyfall, I struggle to say it's better.

For some reason I'm not as engaged as I was when I watched the Brosnan ones but that's maybe because of the reasons I said before as well as being younger. To me, switching actors in the Bond movies had the same effects as replacing the main characters in House M.D. would (including Laurie). I know the Bond movies would be dead if the actors weren't replaced but to me it just feels that way.
Craig is my favorite Bond. I think he's got the healthy balance of seriousness and sarcastic humor. Oh and where's the love for George Lazenby? :(
He wasn't even an actual actor when he got the role.
Lazenby was a fill in for Brosnan, who was originally meant to start as bond when Lazenby did, but he chose another role instead.

Lazenby did his role in 1969.... Brosnan didn't meet Albert Broccoli until 1981 on the set of For Your Eyes Only....
Lazenby was a fill in for Brosnan
Brosnan was good in Goldenfinger.
