• Un-bee-lievable: One in five kids has never seen a bee

That reminds me how I dealt with a wasp hive last year. I just pushed the thing and then smashed the shit out of them with my ol' tennis racket :v: Seriously, it's like cutting a wasp in half, only many of them at once
I love bees. Bumblebees are quite gentle, and even honey bees are quite laid back unless you start messing around with them. Apart from those Africanized ones, I guess.
Those big fat bumblebees are bros.
When I was younger, there was a bumblebee drowning in my swimming pool unable to swim away for whatever reason, so I took my 6 year old hands and carried it out of the water. He bit me, and then flew away.
As I remember, it was the most painful agonizing moment of my childhood That is why I have a fear of bees, wasps, etc.
When I was about 7, I had one of those battery powered toy cars that you can drive around in. I crashed it into a grassy hole near my deck and about six bumblebees slowly floated out of it. I ran and never looked back.
My mate insists him and bees have an understanding. Ever since he was younger and helped a trapped bee. He puts them in his hands and stuff.
Why? They just wanna bee friends.
Look at post above, also fuckin' automerge!
Bees are the best fucking things ever. Little balls of fluff and buzz and sting and love
I like bees, to freak people out I will pet bumble bees while they feed. While feeding as long as you are not overly aggressive and move slow some bumbles will even let you scoop them up in your hand. Also the story about bees all dieing after they sting is a myth, some species do (honey bees) most dont. Also some wasps only can sting once, in fact more wasp species die after stinging than bee species.
I don't see them too often anymore myself but I did once catch one in my hand when I was a little kid and it didn't seem to appreciate it.
A wasp once landed on my shoulder. I stood stone still, it felt like time slowed down. It quickly flew away, after the longest 3 seconds of my life, buzzing like whispers from death himself.
Walking bare-footed on grass and avoiding bumblebees like landmines every summer.
I saw two dead bees today, that's the only bees I've seen this year.
Walking bare-footed on grass and avoiding bumblebees like landmines every summer.
My grandmas dog loved eating apples that fell from the trees that held the hammock, he would drag it away from the bees, and they didn't care.
I've only been stung twice, both times on the feet. Should've taught me to wear shoes in the garden the first time
Bees like to land on me in the summer but they don't sting me if i try to move so they're bros.
I saw two dead bees today, that's the only bees I've seen this year/
I haven't seen any this year. :( Ohio is too damn cold.
Ohio is too damn cold.
For some fucking reason yeah. I just saw a bumble bee try to fly into the 2nd story window here.
Also while they are not bees, hornets are awesome. I used to be terrified of them after a bad run in with a nest but I slowly got over my fear as I grew up and now they fascinate me. I love watching them catch flies. I hate bees they always fly directly into my face.
Bees are adorable, wasps are satan spawn.
A wasp is completely different from a bee
I know I've got a fuck load of carpenter bees eating my fence right now too. [editline]15th April 2013[/editline] The scariest bastards around are those wasps that dig holes in the ground and just wait for some poor bug to crawl by. The things never see it coming as they're dragged into that nightmare hole. Truly Satan spawn
I think you have that backwards, mate. [t]http://www.thomaslaupstad.com/bilder/bumblebee_800.jpg[/t] This is a bumblebee. Easily recognizable by the wide body, and the very wide strips of black and yellow on its body. [t]http://www.theinformationarchives.com/wasp/images/3_wasp-0071.jpg[/t] This is a wasp. Recognizable by it's very narrow and lithe body, thin stripes of black and yellow, and the aura of pure, unrefined evil that emanates from its sheer existence.
wasps are such cunts. You want to have a relaxing barbecue outside in the nice sunny weather and those fuckers get into your food, drinks and face.
I wouldn't mind them if they would stop flying in my face when I'm on my porch.
