I had Swine flu, I also forgot about it
I completely forgot about the swine flu.
All those people who wasted money on vaccines gotta be pissed.
Next time it's AIDS epidemic and it spreads over the air... :ohdear:
Um a woman died in New Zealand the other day of swine.....
I am immortal
Um a woman died in New Zealand the other day of swine.....
a guy died the other day from a stroke STROKE EPIDEMIC
Maybe Swine Flu could have been a real pandemic, but thanks to the media blowing it up we were all saved.
but i read the sun and it caid it was going to kill everyone how did this happen :saddowns:
but i read the sun and it caid it was going to kill everyone how did this happen :saddowns:
Thats the media for ya.
Atleast thats over.
H1N1 was defeated much quicker than SARS. Well thanks to SARS, people are more vigilant than before
Before someone who thinks he's clever says "LOL MEDIA HYPE BLOWN OUT OF PROPORTION" or something like that, let me just give an explanation of why swine flu was a big deal. (of course, the symptoms / killer potency of swine flu was overhyped) As we have no immunity to it, it can spread very easily and exponentially. It may be identical or less potent when it comes to damaging the carrier as normal flu, but it spreads better. The danger with swine flu was its ability to spread. Even if it a carrier was 10x less likely to die than with normal flu, if 30x the number of people have swine flu, it will kill more people. The fact that people laugh at swine flu now is partly down to precautionary measures taken. For example, people who got flu-like symptoms were asked to stay indoors and not go to the doctors or anything.
except those proportions are incorrect because that's not what happened and there weren't many who died.
except those proportions are incorrect because that's not what happened and there weren't many who died.
It was a hypothetical example, which I thought was obvious.
Even if a carrier was 10x less likely to die than with normal flu, if 30x the number of people have swine flu, it will kill more people.
Seriously how can you even interpret that as actual figures? :downs: Furthermore even if it killed nobody, if it was allowed to spread properly and exponentially (which it would if people went out and about in public places with it freely) then the economy would have been ripped the shit out of too. If people can't work, everything goes ass up.
Huh? It's now over? Thought this shit disappeared ages ago.
Never got the vaccine for this. And LOOK! I died!
Swine flue, swine flue... Hmm... Swine flue? Hmm... Oh right, the swine flue!
I thought it already died media wise since people stopped getting affected and the public generally stopped caring. Good new nevertheless.
Swine flue, swine flue... Hmm... Swine flue? Hmm... Oh right, the swine flue!
Pig fireplace?
It never even started. The media just took this story up because nothing else was happening that time in the news so they took this and it blew up into something that was over hyped as much as MW2. It killed less people than the regular flu does each year.

Don't worry, they already announced a sequel
Looks like I saved money by not getting my paranoia shot.
The swine flu was exactly the regular flu. The government just hoaxed it all to get rid of all their leftover excess regular flu vaccines, since they produced way more than were actually used.
Yeah your right, they even fooled our country and it was almost forced to order tens of millions vaccines. New ones.
It was all bullshit anyways
I had it and it felt like a really bad fever.
I don't even see what the big fuss was. My nephew had swine flu, he got the tabby flu(?) or whatever the medicine is, and he was fine the next day. I shared cutlery and food and stuff, I didn't even catch anything
Fuck this reminded me my aunt died of swine flu :( Well and other stuff. But the swine flu is what did her over in the end.
Think I'll go sneak over to my town's water tower after eating a chili burger from down town and take a nice watery shit.
Oh No The Swine Flu is going to kill us O SHIT LETS GET OUR SHOTS PANIC.
