That there's plenty of legitimate places to buy an Xbone from, at much the same price?
as a surprise Christmas present for his four-year-old son, McKenzie
Buy a four year old a used nintendo 64 and a stack of old games for $50. A four year old won't know and won't care.
You guys are saying this like 4 year old kids are idiots?, I was a young father, i still went to College and did Network Engineering, now ive got 4 beautiful children, my 4 year old son wanted a Wii U when it came out, i bought it, i was married when i was 19 (when my wife and i could get legally married).
You guys act like young parents are stupid?, I love my children, and im glad i had them young, honestly, when im 30 they will be nearly old enough to drive cars, and by that stage, i can still play a game of Rugby with my teenagers.
But than again, i guess a Wii U does slightly differ from a Xbox one...
Sorry guys rant over... *hangs head*
So, he asked for a full refund and this is what he got back

Act like a dumbass, get ripped off like a dumbass.
Should have read the description, and the title.

This was the original listing;
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Xbox-One-Fifa-Day-One-Edition-Photo-Brand-New-UK-2013-/271339968555?nma=true&si=X2y8EYSI1IYM7FB2W%252F6naPjyMnw%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557
I can see why he was misled, it's not like the title says exactly "Photo of Xbox One". In any case, it does not mean he shouldn't get his money back.
Who buys new consoles off ebay anyway?
Never touch Ebay for anything gaming related in my opinion, especially if you want a "Day one edition" of the xbox one
If the ebay listing stated it was a picture then he shouldn't get a refund, stupid cunt should of read it better
we shouldn't protect consumers for anything. we should just let sellers have incredibly misleading text so consumers won't be able to tell what kind of product is legitimate or not!!! after all it's your fault if you get scammed! got your house foreclosed by the bank? should have spent 15 years deciphering legal jargon in your contract. you were sent the wrong item? well, the seller's page, despite having images of the item you want, was actually selling this!!! your videogame turned out broken? maybe you should have read the EULA!!!
the fact that the guy had a child at 15 is irrelevant. the fact that he looks like a chav is irrelevant. he got scammed and that's that, he should get his goddamn money back.
