I hope they don't kill him. Death is a reward to these extremists. Lock him in a 6x6 windowless concrete cell for 23 hours a day until he dies.
What happens on the 24th hour?
How about do the humane thing and keep him in prison for life with no chance of parole, but attempt to give him psychological help so he can possibly repent or at least live a more fulfilling life where he can no longer harm anyone.
I strongly doubt that's even an option. Considering he's being charged with terrorism then he could be located to a Supermax prison if not executed. If that's the case then this is where he might spend the rest of his life in: [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/zuUZAp5.jpg[/img_thumb] It's a fate worse than death itself; a lifetime of solitary confinement.
What happens on the 24th hour?
yoga and pilates
What happens on the 24th hour?
People who've been given solitary confinement get 1 hour outdoors, iirc.

A few rounds are cheaper than spending hundreds of thousands of dollars to keep him in a prison with special treatment such as psychological help.
yoga and pilates
a fate worse than death :v:
How about we just kill him instead?
So... Do we shove him into Gitmo with all the other terrorists and innocents?
Unlike 99% of the other at gitmo, this guy's HAS had his trial AND has been found guilty. [editline]28th June 2013[/editline]
also the lethal injection drugs are like twice as expensive as life in prison
AFAIK isn't not the drug itself that's so expensive, it's the necessary bureaucratic procedure that must be followed up until the execution.
except we haven't used the firing squad in like 20 years also the lethal injection drugs are like twice as expensive as life in prison
and all the legal proceedings for execution
So... Do we shove him into Gitmo with all the other terrorists and innocents?
No. He's a domestic terrorist, not an enemy combatant. We shove him into somewhere like ADX Florence with all the other domestic terrorists like Ted Kaczynski, Eric Rudolph, and Terry Nichols. Even foreign terrorists who have been tried and convicted are housed there, e.g. Zacarias Moussaoui and Richard Reid.
Don't forget: if you kill him, he will become a martyr for others who follow a similar cause.
Why do people keep repeating this? It's nonsense. Bin Laden is very dead and Al-Qaeda is still a fraction of what it once was. Killing insurgents and terrorists doesn't encourage others to follow suit, it encourages others to stay the hell away or they'll be next.
yeah thats because all the countries that make it realized how animal it was to kill our prisoners so they stopped selling it to us
Yea, lock em up forever guys, that's much better
Yea, lock em up forever guys, that's much better
Wait, so you think he should be killed, or do you think he shouldn't get life in prison? I'm confused.
It's bastards like him that spark new waves of Islamophobia.
no it's bigots who do that
no it's bigots who do that
Well yeah. But what he said is true, if not a little obvious. If there were no religiously motivated terrorists then there would be a lot less hate.
Wait, so you think he should be killed, or do you think he shouldn't get life in prison? I'm confused.
No I think he should get life and I'm not against capital punishment, but I don' t taunting life in prison as a humane alternative to death makes a lot of sense.
Just give him a swift death and be done with it.
Just give him a swift death and be done with it.
Oh, okay, Your Honor Justice Mr_Razzums. I wasn't aware you were presiding on this sentencing hearing.
Oh, okay, Your Honor Justice Mr_Razzums. I wasn't aware you were presiding on this sentencing hearing.
Not really sure why people are getting all hostile like this in this thread but maybe you should take a breather.
Not really sure why people are getting all hostile like this in this thread but maybe you should take a breather.
im not hostile bro, ur hostile wanting to kill people and shit
calls for death will never be a sane response to a crime, no matter how heinous repeat after me: there are no evil people, just conflicting morals [editline]27th June 2013[/editline] (or insanity but don't repeat that part)
He's a fanatic whose mind matches those of people in the Dark Ages. He has no place in our society.
Random fact: The dark ages were actually pretty stable and tolerant by comparison to Medieval and Renaissance
