If they're going to use the same design over and over again, they should use the Galaxy SII. The picture shows it on stock Android because it makes it look better and touchwiz is worse than the Wii homescreen [t]http://cdn.pocketnow.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/jbgs2.jpg[/t]
they got sued from apple for that one, remember? the galaxy s3 was designed by lawyers, that's why it's so ugly
I honestly think Samsung phones are amazing even tho i used to have a shitty android phone from them but it was a low cost model, but i think people go to them because of their design look at HTC and see how fucking ridiculous their UI is, un-needed amounts of gloss everywhere, its like they couldn't help themselves
So google is saying "we're quite aware that we made the product and you can do what you want with it but aren't making us your bitch."
I still don't know why the Galaxy S series are at the top they are literally the ugliest phones I've ever seen
A fucking joke? It's one of the best selling smartphones. You may knock large screen sizes, but they're selling; very well in fact. Look at the Note and the Note 2.
Just because it's a shit phone that sells good doesn't stop it from being shit just look at the iphone the specs are great, somewhat, but the design is just, it's like when you hold your shit in for a week and what comes out of your ass is the galaxy SIII the SII looks fine though [editline]26th February 2013[/editline] it's just my personal opinion so don't take it so seriously
personally I like the appearance of my S3; it's an exceptionally great phone and my only complaint is that its battery life is kinda okay-ish and the brightness options are pretty limited (the darkest it can get is still pretty bright) what I don't like is TouchWiz but I can live with it; the only thing I don't like about touchwiz is the appearance (other than that it functions perfect for what I use my phone for. I'm looking in to putting Cyanogenmod on it, probably will do that later when I have time.)
Google should set some stricter guidelines for those companies who currently have a large amount of active Android handsets. If they want a big market share, then they should also make phones that are not shitty in any way whatsoever, ESPECIALLY software wise.
they have tried and it never takes off, Google has no control over their own product

The menu icons are stupid looking and the stock widgets are ugly, but it has some good features like motion/gestures and the ability to pull down the notification bar on fullscreen apps. I'm sure you can get ways to do these on Cyanogenmod though.
i think the s3 looks not bad sue me
I don't know how anyone could not love the curvature of the glass on the bezel.
i think the s3 looks not bad sue me
I have a white one and it's downright ugly compared to the black one you can get, but overall it's fine. I think they just made piss-poor colour choices at launch. Come on Samsung, white and blue? What are you smoking

And there is no way in fuck I would be caught talking into that thing like a phone.
I'm pretty happy with the Nexus 4. it's way better than an S3 in almost every way except for storage.
Hopefully the Motorola X-Phone lives up the rumours, I forsee google putting a big push behind it
I'm pretty happy with the Nexus 4. it's way better than an S3 in almost every way except for storage.
It'll pick up more speed on a slope too! No removable storage was a really stupid decision tbh

[t]http://www.nymobil.se/images/samsung_galaxy_siii_i9300_garnet_red_1350464668.jpg[/t] To me, that's ugly as hell. I kinda like the blue one though, mostly since all phones apart from Lumia seems to be black or white

The only reason I didn't get an S3 is because the screen is too big. I got a Motorola RAZR I (4.3 inches but same size as iPhone 5) its my first android phone and I love it.

It didn't disappoint with its specs or screen or size or software or cheap plastic. It disappointed me because after the pretty good looking SGSII it was fucking ugly. The Optimus 4X is what the SGSII's succesor should have looked like. It looks similar to the SGSII but better in pretty much every way. It's a beautiful phone, just look at it:
It's a black/white rectangle with rounded corners and a LG logo. Yeah it's minimalist but it's not very exciting. An OPtimus is what I have right now and it has no soul or character to it. A phone should make you go "Dayum" when you look at it.
I guess opinions differ. When I first saw the SGSIII it made me go "Dayum, that's ugly" and when my friend got the Optimus 4X I was actually excited about how awesome it looked. I like minimalistic designs and the 4X isn't just a white rectangle, the side and back look pretty cool too.
I agree with you there. The SIII design is piss ugly. If I were to think of a good design off the top of my head then the Lumina comes to mind.
Yes, the Lumia looks awesome and unique, but it would have been weird if the SIII had a design like that. :v:
You're just a Phandroid $AME$UNG shill aren't you??? AREN'T YOu? Do they pay you in cheap plastic haha
Christ, Zeke, I fucking love you.
I still have the i9000 on 4.0.2 Slim and I don't regret buying it, Samsung makes good stuff.
I still don't know why the Galaxy S series are at the top they are literally the ugliest phones I've ever seen
The reason they sell so well is their marketing budget for it is huge. I know that's for all of Samsung Electrionics but phones still use a big chunk of that.
I have the Note 2 and love it to shit. I don't think it looks bad and isn't hard for me to carry around.
