Well, sucks that they couldn't get the three seats. Hopefully Dems will hold both seats in their upcoming recalls. Once again I'd like to see what happens when Walker's recall comes.
There might be another recount. Alleged election tampering again in waukesha.
Would you expect any different after the Prosser debacle? This shit is insane. There's no dignity left to any of it in this state.
That doesn't seem like a biased source at all.
It really isn't...whenever a bad accusation comes across there will always be some sort of a bias...how severe it is one thing...and this article certainly doesn't have much Stop masturbating to Fox News and maybe you'd figure that out, Ridge
I'd rather have to sock away a few dollars every paycheck for 40 years rather than have to work with idiots and dangerous people who can't get fired because they're union.
this is exactly how things work. as a guy who has left his house and even walked into a store once, i can attest to the complete and utter congruity of this statement with reality. god bless [editline]10th August 2011[/editline]
That doesn't seem like a biased source at all.
people use the word "bias" on this forum in the same way that people afraid of vampires wear crosses around their necks. if you see something you dont like just wave the word bias at it and it will go away, you dont even have to address the content! [editline]10th August 2011[/editline] august 10th, 2011. on facepunch, "biased" is now a synonym for "thing what make me feel bad". god that sandwich i had for lunch was biased [editline]10th August 2011[/editline] god literally rips the sky open with his countless hands, each with countless fingers and, as his visage turns the people around me into ash, unable to comprehend the face of god, a choir of seraphim descend, singing in harmony that 7 + 5 = 12. but then again god seems sorta biased to me so im just gonna discount all this
Well, sucks that they couldn't get the three seats. Hopefully Dems will hold both seats in their upcoming recalls. So what were the results?
Surely you mean the will of the people wins again, since corporations cannot vote.
Corporations are legally considered people, they vote with their money. You really don't know that?
I'd rather have to sock away a few dollars every paycheck for 40 years rather than have to work with idiots and dangerous people who can't get fired because they're union.
Are you on a Glenn Beck IV drip or something "Idiots and dangerous people" are more likely to exist in non-unionized workplaces because employers are going to hold employees more accountable for safety violations when they have a union breathing down their neck
It really isn't...whenever a bad accusation comes across there will always be some sort of a bias...how severe it is one thing...and this article certainly doesn't have much Stop masturbating to Fox News and maybe you'd figure that out, Ridge
I hate Fox. I hate every fucking one of those hosts. I hate their programming. I hate their retardation. Stop saying I like Fucking Fox. In the first page of Politiscoop's article history, out of 20, there are 5 hit pieces on Gardner. It's obviously biased towards Liberal readers. So stop saying it's fucking fair. [editline]10th August 2011[/editline]
Corporations are legally considered people, they vote with their money. You really don't know that?
But they cannot vote. You can not walk up to a polling place, and when they ask your name, you say "Marlboro Tobacco Products" and expect them to give you a ballot.
Really?
But they cannot vote. You can not walk up to a polling place, and when they ask your name, you say "Marlboro Tobacco Products" and expect them to give you a ballot.
wow Ridge thanks for opening up my eyes to the fact that corporations have absolutely no political influence because they can't vote at the ballot box!!!
But they cannot vote. You can not walk up to a polling place, and when they ask your name, you say "Marlboro Tobacco Products" and expect them to give you a ballot.
Those political ads that run for 8 hours a day every day in the months leading up to election? Haven't ever influenced a vote, never will. 'Cause this is America, where Corporations have no influence over the course of our pure and true democratic process. :patriot:
I hate Fox. I hate every fucking one of those hosts. I hate their programming. I hate their retardation. Stop saying I like Fucking Fox.
Stop acting like them then
But they cannot vote. You can not walk up to a polling place, and when they ask your name, you say "Marlboro Tobacco Products" and expect them to give you a ballot.
Yes but if you would have read above you would have saw I explained how they do in a non direct way "vote"
Really?
But they cannot vote. You can not walk up to a polling place, and when they ask your name, you say "Marlboro Tobacco Products" and expect them to give you a ballot.
Casting a single vote is the smallest possible thing you can do to influence politics aside from not doing anything at all. [editline]10th August 2011[/editline]
Car frames aren't welded by hand anymore
I remember a story about a robotic assembly line that got fucked up and all the car chassis ended up being 3 inches off from where they should be All the welds were done perfect - 3 inches from where they should have been done
I remember a story about a robotic assembly line that got fucked up and all the car chassis ended up being 3 inches off from where they should be All the welds were done perfect - 3 inches from where they should have been done
Not really what I was getting at
wow Ridge thanks for opening up my eyes to the fact that corporations have absolutely no political influence because they can't vote at the ballot box!!!
So you're angry that your fellow voter has a price for which he will give up his own sense of self worth? Okay. [editline]10th August 2011[/editline]
uhh they got suspended so i dont see how that supports your "unions let people get away with stuff" conjecture [editline]10th August 2011[/editline] do you realize that things we take for granted like overtime pay, the 5 day workweek, and not getting fucking black lung are all due to workers' unions?
Suspended. And the union will fight tooth and nail to get them put back on the job. They SHOULD be fired so that someone with a positive work ethic can do that job. [editline]10th August 2011[/editline]
Stop acting like them then
I have similar opinions as them, so therefore I act just like them? Gotcha. Quit being a fucking communist douchebag, then.
I have similar opinions as them, so therefore I act just like them? Gotcha. Quit being a fucking communist douchebag, then.
Socialist*
Suspended. And the union will fight tooth and nail to get them put back on the job. They SHOULD be fired so that someone with a positive work ethic can do that job.
And how do you know this? Do you think unions just don't care about job performance or what?
And how do you know this? Do you think unions just don't care about job performance or what?
They certainly haven't done anything to fight that image.
They certainly haven't done anything to fight that image.
The only people unions have a bad image with are the people who have never been near them while they are working. I guarantee you, if you'd ever gotten off your ass and saw a proper construction site, electrical installation, or any of the other numerous hands-on jobs being a college GOP drone doesn't routinely bring you near, you'd think of them as a the labor form of an army.
And how do you know this? Do you think unions just don't care about job performance or what?
It's easier to talk shit about something you've never seen than think about how what you're saying is inherently illogical and do some actual observation. You know this shit works on the same principle as racism ("I just know them black people have tiny brains, because Cletus told me, but fuck if I'll actually talk to one"), so don't try to rationalize it. You could be the second coming of Socrates, but all your questions are going to do is make him drink another cheap beer and dream of union boogeymen come to take his nonexistent wealth.
They certainly haven't done anything to fight that image.
End child labor Establish the legal right of workers to form unions and collectively bargain for wages, benefits and working conditions Establish the 8 hour work day and paid overtime Win workers' comp benefits for workers injured on the job Secure unemployment insurance for workers who lose their jobs Secure a guaranteed minimum wage Improve workplace safety and reduce on the job fatalities Win pensions for workers Win health care insurance for workers Win paid sick leave, vacations, and holidays as standard benefits for most workers Win the right for public sector workers to collectively bargain Win passage of the Civil Right Acts and Title VII which outlaws job discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex or national origin Win passage of the Occupational Safety and Health Act Win passage of the Family Medical Leave Act Yeah...you're right...nothing too important
