I've loved every Dead Rising game so far, I just really like the sense of progression Dead Rising 1 has. Like in DR2 Chuck basically starts off as this zombie killing badass, while in Dead Rising 1 Frank starts off as just some normal dude who builds himself up to the point where he can literally rip the insides out of a zombie with his bare hands.
I just always thought that was really cool and made me like Frank the most as a Dead Rising protagonist.

I am really happy, I was really excited for DR4 thinking it was just DR1 on PC but became sad when it turned out to not be the case.
Thank god it's coming to PC.
This is a gift from god holy shit.
As fun as 2 and 3 were they don't compare to just how tight, memorable and actually challenging DR1 was.
DR1 has the charm that only a Japanese dev team can bring to the table. DR2 and 3 do not compare.

DR1 on the PC has been what I've been dreaming about since I first played DR1.
I'm looking forward to giving infinity mode another good try, which was confusingly absent from DR2.
I hope they don't add anything like that, DR1 is not a co-op game. It's a game for struggling, barely saving anybody and for breaking and running around late to everything.
this is absolutely fantastic news. dr1 is one of my favourite games. i hope the price isn't too high but even now i'd gladly pay 20-30 usd for it

As much as I love this song, every time I went outside and heard it, I was like "oh fuck off". Those convict guys were annoying as hell.
Nothing needs to make sense when you've gone guru.
Also, this is one of my favorite game end credits songs.

I had DR1 on X-Box before I owned a HD TV, and some of the text was impossible to read.
Back in the day I begged my mom for a 360 just to play this game, and got it. Can't wait to snag the PC port
I hope the PC specs aren't through the roof. I lack a PS4 or Xbone and I would LOVE to replay this. Hands down my favorite 360 exclusive next to Halo 3 Multiplayer.

Assuming it's going to be more or less a port of the original, it should be pretty lightweight as the original Dead Rising ran on MT Framework, which is pretty optimized and runs beautifully on pretty much any machine.
Fun fact i dont have a working 360 anymore and i sold all my games for it, except for my original release dead rising 1 copy (and halo 3 ltd edition but that's not for nosalgia sake).
I'm both proud and deeply filled with regret to say i am a 7 day survivor.

I'm a grown up now and have my own money, but there are holidays...
Is this going to be a straight-up port of the original 360 version or will they do some improvements? I'd certainly like to see the survivor AI improved and less obnoxious loading screens.
