[t]http://i.imgur.com/rlDI3xU.jpg[/t] What bothers me is that the keyboard icons are in proper 1080p resolution since they're new, but the fonts look to still be 720p.
i can guarentee there will be a mod for that within an hour of release. itll be like one alphabet texture replacement
So if it's 20 bucks on steam, I wonder how much it's gonna retail for in stores. I'm not really interested in DR2 or OTR, I just want to play through DR1 again
They have a trailer too.
there's a pre-order up on steam. $20. http://store.steampowered.com/app/427190/
Not in germany it seems : (
I really want to preorder but I think I'm gonna wait to see if the port delivers. Kinda weird they don't even offer a discount for preorders.
You can always refund it if it doesn't, right?
You can but Valve doesn't like people doing it and if you do it enough, they will take the power of refund away from you. Just something to keep in mind.

From all of the PC port history of Capcom it always had been pretty rock solid, including their recent port of Dragon's Dogma, which is using the same engine Dead Rising 1 was running on. Pretty confident this will be a good PC port too.
What about Dead Rising 2: Off The Record and Dead Rising 3? Can't talk about off the record tho.
What about Dead Rising 2: Off The Record and Dead Rising 3? They were developed by Blue Castle Games instead, now known as Capcom Vancouver, and DR2 and DR3 used a vastly different engine.
Dead rising 2 ran pretty good on an old think pad t61p I had, and that's an old ass, pro duo laptop. Off the record ran pretty horribly because of the new dof effect they added.
