even college students need this

especially college students
I wish my professor knew he's a douchebag
My sister works as a kindergarten teacher in a pretty poor area, kids tell her things like this all the time. It's really heartbreaking to hear, kids with no parents, things like that.

I wish my professor could do a sick kickflip.
Does "play" at all sound like "payl" to you?
Basically, I'm taking a stance similar to that of Maddox, except in his case, with crappy artwork.
except maddox is joking about childrens artwork, he knows its shit but he's just taking the piss out of that
you're just being an ass and not joking about it, like you're taking it seriously
What a good teacher for doing this, really gives an idea of the sort of shit that kids can go through
The feels are too strong for me, more teachers should take up this practice.
Third grade and they already write neater than I do.

Good job completely missing the entire point Maddox was making with that piece.
The understanding of mental health is HUGE in a school environment, for sure. I went through all of highschool with serious anxiety problems that got worse over the years, and it severely impacted my grades. If I could have explained things to my teachers, or even understood it well enough myself, I probably wouldn't have failed so many classes. Instead, I got called stupid, or labeled as a problem student because I wasn't turning things in, and that just made things worse.[/QUOTQUO
The good news you became aware of it at an early age. Some don't figure it out till much later and by then the damage is done.
Many people blame systematic oppression or something of the like to explain the plight of many. I been around a bit and have noticed those with emotional and mental issues (may it be trouble at home, school or both or other wise) are the largest factor that determine one's fate.
I known a few people who were abused hardcore by their parents (or a broken home) and they didnt turn out well, finaincally or other wise. What worse, the kids inherited that crap. It affects every thing school, work, ability to hold down a job.

I've found that it's all a huge mix of inter-related factors, like it's bad enough to have to suffer with a mental illness while also going through school, but to also face stigma and be bullied for it just compounds everything and can really mess people up
I wish my teacher knew that I go to the bathroom during third period to masturbate to her.

People like things black and white. Bullying makes a person with issue worse, which I think did mention?
The bullies target those sticking out do to being weird (due to issues).
Some of these I've had to deal with, except, it was more #IWishMyTeacherCared.
Our teacher in elementary asked if we could change the school how would we change it
I said "make me president of the united states and I'd give every kid free candy"
