"DESIGNED FOR PC GAMERS"
Has an A, B, X, Y buttons, directional pad and two analogue sticks. Sounds like it'll really appeal to the PC gamers... Nailed it...

Work out while you pwn scrubs!
Correct me if im wrong, but i thought the whole pc deal was about having a personal piece of dedicated hardware for you to utilize as your needs demand. Not just games with good graphics.

That part is detachable. It plays PC games, runs windows, and can be used with a mouse and keyboard - what else do you want? The attachable gamepad handles are still really neat IMO because it's not like you can use a keyboard and mouse on the bus (well, you can, it just sucks)
Razer make nice keyboards and mice but suck at everything else.

Eh, I have a black widow and it's pretty nice but there's a few horrible design choices and the software is awful. Never had a razer mouse.
I have a razer mouse and keyboard tbh
The mouse is designed nicely and is comfortable to use..
The keyboard is nice too, mostly because it is backlit but it is not mechanical :saddowns:
I find it terrible to use. PC? Controllers are below screen. Console? Controllers are below screen (unless you're Spiderman). Tablet? Keyboard is below the content. Okay, Wii U gets the controller in the middle.
But in the top corners? You have to look down. That's going to hurt the neck at some point.
Plus, the price doesn't help change minds...
What? You're not going to squash the device close to your chest just because your hands are further forward. If you're okay with tablets what's the problem? If anything it's going to keep your hands from being right up against your stomach if you're sitting with your legs folded up.
Also...GBA? PSP?
I think this could actually be a pretty awesome idea if they stopped marketing it as ~THE SAVIOR OF PC GAMING~ and made it cheaper
I mean it's basically a semi-portable windows game console
The world's first tablet designed for people who don't need it!
I have wondered who actually needs a tablet.
my spoilt little brother just bought a load of Razer stuff. the bragging lasted hours.
he got really angry when i started laughing at him for spending £90 on a mouse becuase it had green LEDs in it though.

IF THE ACOUSTICS ARE REFLECTED, THEY ARE NOT DIRECT. DO YOU EVEN KNOW WHAT DIRECT AND/OR REFLECTED MEANS, RAZER?!
I actually think they just just take "cool sounding" words and add to some/most of their names without any reason.

I'm not doubting that it can, but not with the level of detail shown in the marketing material.
Also, 256 gb max. Lol.
If you want a portable gaming machine just buy a Clevo W110ER, takes upto a 45W Quad Core, and has 650M rather than the 640M LE in this machine. And its 11.6in.

Yes the screen glare but you can get a matte screen too.
[editline]30th March 2013[/editline]
Or the upcoming 13.3in with a 1920x1080 screen.
Razer deathadder is the king of mice, never used their keyboards though because my microsoft comfort curve is too damn pro.
Every time I see a large company try to appeal to gamers, it ends up looking like this

Do they even know who they're selling to? It looks like they're trying to sell to competitive CoD players.

Their headsets aren't to bad, I'm on a Razer Tiamat 7.1
What the hell. Just noticed their product names and I agree, they try to make them sound cool.
Next up: Razer PulseLaser BlackWidow Stealth ZeroX Renegade Sharp Tournament 2013 Striker Gold Edition.
Hi, yeah. I'll stick to my Steel Series thank you very much.
Supposedly it can last 2hrs gaming with the extended battery, and that's a hell of a lot better than my laptop does :v:
Get a new (extended) battery for your laptop.

There are a bunch of different and better headphones you can get for cheaper....
Wow....this is actually kinda sad. For $1250, I could build a desktop that would blow this thing away.
Razer......wat are you doing?
There are a bunch of different and better headphones you can get for cheaper....
Yeah I know, I just needed something with good build quality because I always end up breaking my headphones.
i need to see a link/url for the upcoming 13.3 edition.
It's still all very hush-hush; all we have this picture:

And this from a reseller:
W230ST: The W110ER will not be refreshed this year, instead it will be replaced with the W230ST. The W110ER is not discontinued, just won't be refreshed. This model is going to be the most popular one on the market in my opinion. 13.3" 1920x1080 FHD panel. New refreshed nVidia graphics, Sound Blaster Cinema audio, Illuminated keyboard. Sounds like everyone's wish list approval. ETA July.
I wish these sorts of things could get released at a price that isn't basically highway robbery. I don't think anyone is willing to put down that much cash for a gaming tablet, even if it's size to performance ratio is very impressive.

I bought the tournament stealth edition and I'm winning tournaments without anyone even knowing I'm there, thanks Razer
I don't know if this has been brought up yet, but I hope you guys realise that this is the same price as microsoft surface, samsung's tablet, the ASUS taichi, and the lenovo yoga?
The only difference imo is that the Razer tablet has better specs than all of the ones listed. I'm no advocate of Razer, but spec-wise I just don't see why I would buy any of those other tablet/laptop devices when I could get Razer's with better specs for the same price.

It's more expensive than the Surface, dunno what samsung tablet you're even talking about, the Taichi is a damn ultrabook with a reversable touchscreen and not a tablet, the Yoga is basically the same as the Taichi and it's cheaper than both.

The surface is like $200 cheaper iirc

Lets say all of these are "laptop tablets" all the same specs.
Surface: ~$1120 /w Type Cover
Taichi: ~$1300 - Dual Screen
Yoga: ~$1050 - Bendable as poop
Edge: If their "Docking Station" is $99, they're going to charge even more for the keyboard. I'm going to say ~$1200
Now three of these run at resolutions higher than 720p, and their prices justify their features and variant sizes. The only thing the Edge has for it is the discrete graphics chip.
It may not be the most expensive, but it "feature" wise is not the best; as it doesn't have the wide screen that the Surface has, the flexibility of the Taichi and the Yoga, and the fact that the whole thing is centered around adding on even heavier addons. I never understood the appeal of mobile PC gaming. I go to PC for a premier gaming experience; not to lug a 2.5 pound tablet with me everywhere. The only thing I do on my laptop while out is play a casual game or read shit.
