Trolling is fine by me. But to troll a girl who comes home from school crying about how she has no friends makes me mad, to be honest. This is Facepunch, we've all been depressed at one point. I'm sure you all can imagine how she must have felt. Trolling is fine, but learn control.
I was always under the impression that you were supposed to respond to all the Formspring trolls with troll responses. Either way, if Formspring doesn't already have a button to report abuse, it needs one.

It does, but I'm skeptical about it's effectiveness.
It's disgusting what happens on Formspring. If you thought people during raids were harsh, imagine what a bunch of non-internet savvy teenagers with no morality can do.
"She was found by a train driver"
"Bruno Mars - Grenade"
I figured it out and oh man i felt bad.
I was going to make a train joke about her picture but no.

Another edgy teenager with no empathy who doesn't understand the psychology behind people who are bullied and harassed every day.
People like you aren't helping the problem, you're just being a fucking dick.
Speaking after the inquest, Natasha’s parents said they feared that lyrics to one of her favourite songs — Grenade by the American Bruno Mars — may have also encouraged her to take her own life. The song contains the lyrics: “I’d jump in front of a train for ya.”
Wow that part's just fucking stupid.
Wait, it seems like the girl was an ass to people and that's why she didn't have any friends?
that's not true ever listened to a recent Muse album
The Resistance wasn't that bad, just saw them again at LA Rising with Rage Against the Machine and they've really improved on the new songs.
This sucks because I know people who knew her.
that's not true ever listened to a recent Muse album
Was going to make the exact same joke about "The resistance" senf8s8e8se8uesfgdrd

The report button can be used as a trolling tool, last year I flagged all my little sister's summer pictures on Facebook as child pornography, she had to remake her account.

Have you ever listened to Bieber? It's about the closest I've gotten to wanting to.

What's so bad about it? Yeah I completely neglect it as a Muse album but when I go to their gigs, I enjoy the songs as long as it isn't guiding light :vomit:

It's almost completely obvious just by looking at this that this was a typical situation.
I mean there are no specific indicators but it's one of those things where you're like "yup, that's it"

When you take something out of context you can make anything sound evil. I'm surprised the part where he says he'd jump on a fucking grenade for somebody didn't scare them, yet this one random line did because it was somewhat related to her death.
I'd be her friend...
Is it really necessary to research whether or not jumping in front of a train could kill you?
Fucking media, journalism is of terrible standard these days.

Say I taunted her on formspring, how could I know she came back home crying?

It was a terrible, over-hyped album and that's all i'm saying about that.
Bruno Mars is a scumbag, how dare he have lyrics that are meant in an un-reltaed matter to committing suicide. Next soldiers will be blowing themselves up with their grenades!!!
fuckin twats
I don't get why people are being so harsh about her, rating the picture funny and stuff, "Oh look at all that makeup! Serves her right!". You know that's someone's daughter right? Or maybe someone's sister. And probably someone's best friend. Daughters don't come out of nowhere, her family raised her and loved her for 15 years and I bet she was a lovely young girl, it's a massive shame she felt she had to kill herself she was only 15.
I don't see why such emphasis is being placed on cyberbullying here. The source says she 'came home from school in tears around two weeks before her death, saying she did not have any friends' so it sounds like she had real life problems, and the only mentions of cyberbullying in the article are a single message before her death and the parents saying they believe cyberbullying caused her death, and given that the parents also said that 'they feared that lyrics to one of her favourite songs — Grenade by the American Bruno Mars — may have also encouraged her to take her own life. The song contains the lyrics: “I’d jump in front of a train for ya.”,' I think we should take what they say with a pinch of salt.

Reminds me of that thread about the girl who passed out drunk and got shat on, with lots of people going 'she had hundreds of facebook friends therefore she must have been a whore so she deserved it.' Airtight logic right there.

Every one of these threads there's always one arsehole like you.
She went to my friend's school. A waste of a young life.
I don't want to seem insensitive for putting this so blunt, but anyone who lets "cyberbullying" affect them has some serious self-esteem problems. "Holy shit somebody is being mean to me on the internet I should kill myself!"
People who are depressed and have low self-esteem issues struggle with comments like those. Anything can hurt them because they're already feeling low.
Stop being so ignorant, seriously. If you got attacked by messages on a daily basis and had to put up with such bullshit you would feel the same way.
It is thick to say people shouldn't be affected by acts like that, people vary and have different sensitivities. For kids social interactions is so important and negative interaction like that can affect them greatly.
Say I taunted her on formspring, how could I know she came back home crying?

Maybe you shouldn't taunting someone over the internet, let alone someone you don't know. Most people wouldn't do it in real life, so why do it on the internet. Oh wait I know why, because people are pussys and to make themselves feel better they have to put people down because they're losers themselves. (statement isn't direct to you, just in general)

She was more then likely looking up other means, trying to find a painless way out.
Girls/women more commonly use prescriptions medications and try to overdose, that is also why they don't succeed in killing themselves as much compared to men statistically. Boys/men on the other hand often use a gun if it is available (Which in most households they are) and take their own life that way. Men/boys don't commit suicide as often as girls, but because they use a gun they're far more successful.
The song contains the lyrics: “I’d jump in front of a train for ya.”
Looks like lyrics kill people now. Time to replace my music folder with several gigabytes worth of good old voiceless Classical masterpieces.

the stirring music has been known to provoke such emotion that people kill themselves

then why didn't she actually use one of those painless and less catastrophic methods?

Who knows, maybe didn't want to do it in her own home. Maybe she didn't have access to pills.
None of that matters though, she is dead and what for? Because people wanted to bully her like the little shitheads they are and push her to the edge. Well guess what guys, she did it. Happy now?
