NO ONE jumps in-front of a train from a comment like that unless they suffer from some serious low self-esteem or depression. When people suffer from depression and/or low self-esteem, it's very hard to break, because they have tunnel vision. You don't think of others. You don't think of the good things about you, life, or how what you have is better than those who live in a 3rd world country. This isn't just someone who needed to learn how to cope with her issues, and she was too "weak" to do it. This is someone whose parents divorced: what does that tell you about her home life? She had no support around her: she claimed to have "no friends," at school.
