No your right, you had it hard, so that means any one who didn't have as hard as you is fair game. Also about the insult, what I was getting at is that someone who is unhappy is going to take that insult worse than something thinking in a healthy way, and that doens't make them a moron. That's someone who should be helped, not insulted.
Puttin words in my mouth, great job, you're really bad at this dude. Just sayin. Stop white knighting you, I'm sure she's already dating someone.
Puttin words in my mouth, great job, you're really bad at this dude. Just sayin. Stop white knighting you, I'm sure she's already dating someone.
Dating someone? She's dead mate. Of course she isn't. I don't even know her, I didn't like how people were acting as if she would dare do something as silly as be upset enough to kill herself, as if she deserved it. And bad at what? I don't mind if you think I'm bad at arguing. I think I'm being dead reasonable, I didn't like your attitude in your post and that's what I said, and I told you why. That's fine isn't it? Wouldn't you do the same? I'm sure you're a nice enough guy in real life there's no need to get upset about it.
"Be nicer or you'll lose everything, mark my words" is insulting? To who? A moron?
When you have low self-esteem, it's very easy to take the statement one person says and think that's how the whole entire group views you. You feel powerless to the notion that you're a piece of shit too. It actually hurts to fight it, because you pathologically lie to yourself and tell yourself that you're shit.
Wait what "Be nicer or you'll lose everything, mark my words" is insulting? To who? A moron? Not good that she killed herself but what the actual fuck
She killed herself over that? I expected worse to happen to her. Such as her personal information being leaked, beaten up, constantly given death threats irl, receiving "free" pizzas, or receiving prank calls. None of those happened to her at all. It's unfortunate that she died over something easily solvable and something that isn't that terrible.
From that quote it makes it seem like she was probably a bitch and had no friends for a reason. Although obviously i can't judge from one formspring message. Regardless it is still sad that someone took their own life.
SQUIDS_EYE YOU NEED TO BE NICER OR YOU'LL LOSE EVERYTHING MARK MY WORDS
They're fucking blaming it on her music too :suicide: God dammit music doesn't drive one to suicide.
They'll take any bit they can to blame something. If I'm going to kill myself because of music, I'd do it in style. Some Billie Holiday or shit like that.
OH DURRR SOMEONE CALLED ME FAT ON THE INTERNET IMA KILL MYSELF LOL they should ban news threads like this
um excuse me muse are good
Old Black Holes and Revelations/Absolution/Origin of Symmetry/Hullabaloo/Showbiz Muse is good. Compared to the shit people listen to right now, The Resistance is good but it's nothing like what they used to make.

That's someone who should be helped, not insulted.

“Start acting nicer to people or you will lose everyone. Mark my words.”
Just so everyone knows, the above quote is advice, not an insult. Jesus mother fuck, I realize teenage girls are emotional clusterfucks by default but if that's the sort of thing that sets them off these days then Dove chocolate is in for a rude awakening. Underneath every single piece of wrapping paper is a potentially killer piece of advice. No, really, if you take that as an insult then you're hypersensitive and need to sit in the corner, or, stop being a bitch to everyone.
If we really praised suicide like that because it "did away with the weaker," we would find the human race to be a very, very ugly thing. We would also find out that people who come from "strong" bloodliens still ended up killing themselves anyway. Killing yourself has to do with the environment you've grown up in. Pretty much 90% of the time, you plop anyone into that exact environment from birth, they're going to end up doing the same thing.
No, I'm sorry, but I cannot have any sympathy for this girl. Yes it's sad, but sad in the same way that I see a crushed turtle on the road, too bad you didn't make it across lil' buddy! I agree with Sift, I had a total shit childhood up until my junior year in high school. You know what I did in the meantime? I sure as hell didn't jump in front of a fucking train, I found a way to deal with it. She was a weak-willed girl and wasted everything and anything put into her life. Her parents, relatives, friends (I seriously doubt she had literally no friends at all) and anyone else she interacted with now have a hole in their lives because she was selfish. Yes, I view suicides as selfish, wrong and a pretty dick thing to do. So she's not only put undue stress on people, she's sapped up resources from day one and for what? It all ends with her tossing herself in front of a train. With that, I see "SO SHE DESERVED TO DIE BECAUSE SHE WAS WEAK??? ASSHOLE" coming very soon from somebody on here, so I'll nip that in the bud right now. No, I don't think she deserved to die and I did start out saying that it's sad. She didn't deserve anything, especially not to die. She just did. Compared to pretty much everyone who's not in a third world country, her life has been awesome. Hell, I'm pretty sure there's at least ten Somali girls, right now, who really wish they weren't stuck in a "country" ravaged by constant civil war. I know damn well there's children out there, in my own country, who are homeless and would love to actually, you know, live in a house and not on the street. Her life wasn't sunshine and rainbows but it could be a whole hell of a lot worse. There's children half her age that have already shown more courage and strength than she could ever hope to muster. So, forgive me, but I'm not going to shed a tear for her sad, tragic story of having no friends and walking into internet trolling.
Ur a faget Lyndsay

She didn't deserve anything, especially not to die. She just did.
There's a difference between being "weak-willed" and depressed. NO ONE jumps in-front of a train from a comment like that unless they suffer from some serious low self-esteem or depression. When people suffer from depression and/or low self-esteem, it's very hard to break, because they have tunnel vision. You don't think of others. You don't think of the good things about you, life, or how what you have is better than those who live in a 3rd world country. This isn't just someone who needed to learn how to cope with her issues, and she was too "weak" to do it. This is someone whose parents divorced: what does that tell you about her home life? She had no support around her: she claimed to have "no friends," at school. This is a girl who, most likely, has had problems for YEARS and no one has ever given her the time to sit down and help her. She didn't know how to deal with it, because there was no one around to show her how in the first place. I'm not sure how you can be strong-willed when you have a fragmented support system.
Just so everyone knows, the above quote is advice, not an insult.
It's an insult disguised as advice. So it's not only insulting, but patronising as well.
News articles rarely address this, hence why some brilliant minds assume that the person heard one bruno mars song and an angry comment on the internet then completely lost it and killed themselves
Yeah. There's a lot more going into it than just a song.
It's an insult disguised as advice. So it's not only insulting, but patronising as well.
This exactly. Teens love to give faux-helpful advice like this.
Aw this is so bad... It must have taken ages to clean off that blood from the train.
it's the song's fault :v:
