There are some in Thailand. My girlfriend went to one. She said the cats were mostly sleeping and only one played with her. Also, they isolate the cats from the actual cafe/restaurant.

It's really simple. The first thing you show them when they get on the house for the first time is the crate. And this has always worked for me. Of course accidents have happened (they're living beings, after all), but I could count them with the fingers of [I]one[/I] of my hands.
