give me $800.
sell all your old computers on ebay for money
give me $800.
how can you own like 30 billion vintage computers and computer accessories but not be able to buy like 200 dollars worth of parts and shit, or a <100 dollar OS upgrade for your actual computer you use for actual work that you're on right now?

Fuckfuckfuck. I really wish I wasn't working at my computer shop tomorrow. The phones are going to go crazy.
xp users are basically the japanese holdouts of the OS world
Yeah uh, I'm legit not going to give fifty shits. It's not like the clock will strike 12 and XP machines will suddenly no longer boot.
Major Windows security exploit will be patched People will find out what was done to patch it and thus the exploit itself Exploit will still work on XP R.I.P
Microsoft should do that
But only to MIPS.
using xp after this date will be very dicey, as its still got a big market share so you bet malware exploits will be everywhere
Gonna make using XP in a virtual machine all the more fun for us malware enthusiasts!
xp users are basically the japanese holdouts of the OS world
XP Banzai!
The only reason i keep my copies of Windows XP around is for virtual machine stuff when i want to use some older stuff.
You got a big mouth cunt
May I place my erection in said mouth?
I don't get how there are home users still running xp. I mean seriously do people still use computers from 2004 for their daily computing? I'd hate to see modern websites running on a Pentium 4
Suddenly phone calls to thousands of grandchildren
I'm curious to know what it looks like, can someone post a picture tomorrow?
good thing my grandma has a laptop with windows 7, imported from the states
I still use xp because I can't justify doing a wipe & clean install until i've got a new pc that isn't held together by duct tape and love.
I still use xp because I can't justify doing a wipe & clean install until i've got a new pc that isn't held together by duct tape and love.
same here for me except it's 7 -> 8
Microsoft should do that
And on April 8th the world will wonder why all of the ATMs stopped working.
And on April 8th the world will wonder why all of the ATMs stopped working.
The ones running Linux will be fine, besides a lot of them are probably running xp embedded not the standard version
Imagine using XP in 2014
there are people that will never use windows xp due to being born in a time where it was no longer relevant and they're alive riight noW!!!
And on April 8th the world will wonder why all of the ATMs stopped working.
The support for Embedded ends in 2016.
I keep my XP laptop to play Chip's Challenge :v:
This isn't a big deal to most people, every place I work at, 5/7 use Windows 95 still, 2/7 use XP. Steak'n'Shake, Dollar Tree, Kroger, Frys to name a few
Right on time, I just bought a new PC and I realized I couldn't install XP on it... so I finally switched to 7 now. After years of being happy XP user. Anyway, the whole discussion about which OS is better is bullcrap. I believe everyone is free to use whatever they're comfortable with. You won't tell someone with a PC from 2005 to go 7 or 8. That's just stupid.
Waiting for a Windows XP user to come complain about how all modern OSes are garbage
All OS's are garbage period I live in a shed in the forest btw [editline]8th March 2014[/editline]
Imagine using XP in 2014
imagine using it in 2009

Nor should they expect people to not make fun of them for running a 14 year old operating system that has been superseded 3 times (And predates multicore processors, wifi, 64bit consumer CPUs, etc.). Edit: Hell, I remember when I got XP Pro that it made a big deal about running on multi-processor systems, because Home only supported a single CPU.
