too bad the post he's referring to that got dumbs is
it's not out till May 4th where I am
after he had already been informed that it was out elsewhere
What was he trying to do? Is the hard drive where they keep the movies just filled with all kinds of random shit?
A Digital 3D film can range anywere in size from 50GB to over 600GB, Escpecially for longer films. The HDD's on the servers tend to be around the 1TB mark, and they may have been playing more that 1 film in that hall so there may have been a good 3-4 other films, adverts and trailers. It could have simply been a case of them trying to free up some room on the server.
Some of the digital copys of the avengers did have a slight problem if they were ran on servers not running upto date software, they could have been trying to solve that problem.
I thought that the only copy of the film was deleted. Oh man, that would have sucked big time...
I don't think "One of the best projectionists in the nation" is that much of a title
Find the Recycle Bin
I find it ironic how a movie that's generally about American super heroes isn't even in America yet.
I find it ironic how a movie that's generally about American super heroes isn't even in America yet.
I think that is what has people so confused and worked up is that Captain America is blatantly obvious, Tony Stark/Iron Man is the biggest American weapons manufacturer and basically the backbone of American military technology, Bruce Banner/The Hulk is an an American scientist, Nick Fury was a major American soldier and incredibly important American spy, and while he isn't as major as the others, Hawkeye is from Iowa. The only odd ones are Black Widow who is Russian and Thor who is a Scandinavian God.

Bro, you're hurting my feelings. Also, wasn't even going to see this shit. Comic book universes aren't my thing.
I have watched it last Saturday, although I'm still grasping at the fact that we are watching a movie about the uber-macho-ass-kicking-bubble-gum-chewing americans earlier than the americans themselves, which is ridiculous.
Still an awesome movie though.
Proof that it is showing here (and I'm not watching some Asylum fake shit): http://www.megastar.vn/en/

He wasn't being whiny in the least. Being an asshole was uncalled for.
The Avengers isn't even out yet, how could you possibly have watched it?
Seen it here in 3D almost a week ago now, going again tomorrow with different friends to see it again.

Tons of people who were a part of the film has a copy of the film, such as the director, executive producers (the one who funds or provides something big like an entire studio, etc.) and others. In general, there wouldn't be just one copy and they can always re-render the movie and they almost never delete anything.
I saw this on Saturday. It's a fucking awesome movie.
System restore.
