Omg, can we start using lol and omg on standardized tests, as they're recognized now? LOL.
i hope this isn't a Banh Mi thread.
I hate people that say omg and lol in real life.
It drives me up the fuckin wall.
i love topics like this because it proves that most facepunch users lack a basic understanding of what a dictionary's purpose is

English is a living language. Get over it.
Well, time to troll all my professors. They told me I can only use words in the dictionary.

That's the point, languages are not supposed to be fancy and complex, they should be easy to learn and English is quite good at it.
And obviously, if it's necessary new words can be added.
lol so what does this mean?
GWTP! WMIFAYALSOMTYSFNANTYELVG. IATEIA.
Or, for the ignorant/obstinate people here:
Get with the times people! We're moving into the future and you're acting like the stubborn old men that you scorn for not accepting the new things you enjoy like video games. I already type everything in acronyms.
Just FYI, they're not acronyms, they're initialisms.

Even through I hate the fact they're including these, they're not breaking their internal rules. They already have plenty of non-chatspeek shortenings in the dictionary.
The only thing i can do is just sigh really.................
