Bernie Sanders VOX Interview: Everything you need to know about the Bern
European countries simply don't have the funds to increase military spending, at all, and the state of their current military ability is laughable. Many are already strapped with increasing debt at their current levels, and their welfare programs are going to cost more, not less with the increasing average age of most European countries.
No, they can't find the money because they don't need to. If the US wasn't providing the significant counterweight to Russia, I seriously doubt all of those European countries would continue to let their military spending slack.
I don't believe in large American government simply because I have no faith or trust in the federal bureaucracy that constitutes for 90% of the actual government. The more cogs you put into that mash of gears, the more slowly and inefficient it's going to run.
I don't have faith in it because we have gears that are missing other gears and cogs that are completely in the wrong spots.
We have tons of departments and laws that could help both government, small business and the average citizen but because of cutbacks and the deregulation process we've been going through since the late 70s, none of these work and we're seeing the pain.
The federal government cannot function because Congress have ripped off its legs and are beating it with them and then stating 'SEE ITS NOT WORKING GUYS!'

I don't squarely place blame on the bureaucracy when the people making it refuse to fund it.
His odds of beating Hilariy are fairly low, but it'll be even lower to beat Jeb Bush, the likely canidate for the Republicans.
National Poll:
SANDERS: 48%
BUSH: 47%
SANDERS: 48%
WALKER: 42%
SANDERS: 59%
TRUMP: 38%
New Poll Shows Bernie Sanders Beating Donald Trump And All The Republicans

He is also the only candidate with a positive favor-ability rating. Many people also do not know who he is yet either. He can win and if enough people find out about him(then actually vote), he will win. I think it's more so if he can beat Hilary than if he can win the general.

You can't just spew out percentages like that without context.
Here's the study your sources used:

Okay, it's him and Ben Carson that have positive favor ability. He still has a very large percentage of "Never Heard Of" and "No Opinion" at 54%. Also, the percentages that I posted were the polls for a general election scenario. This proves that yes, if the election was today, Bernie Sanders would beat Jeb Bush, Scott Walker, and Trump.
Gun control[edit]
Sanders supports a ban of semi-automatic assault weapons and the closing of loopholes existing at gun shows that allow buyers to get around some regulations. He is in favor of instant background checks for gun owners.[153]
What do you say about this, facepunch?

Hillary Clinton - Never Heard of - 1%
What

Most Americans are stupid, don't you know?
These people are allowed to vote (but probably won't).
I personally believe a History test should be necessary to vote
Hillary Clinton - Never Heard of - 1%
What
It being as low as 1% is a miracle in itself.

I agree with him on a lot of things, but not that. Very much against that part.
He's got my vote!

How important is it to you? Enough to change your mind on voting for him or is it not important enough

If he steps back from that platform he'll secure a vote from me.
That idea is just asinine and will do nothing but give the ATF more reasons to kick down people's doors and won't actually stop crime in the US now that the country is so saturated.
The legal definition for "semi-automatic assault weapon" is hilarious. The guns used at the Columbine and NIU shootings were legal under the AWB.
[editline]1st August 2015[/editline]
It'll also be a waste of time and money trying to jam that past congress, when there's arguably more important things to look at in the country.
