That is hardly restricted to Gaza and the Palestinian territories. That is rampant across the Middle East and Asia.

I figured this entire thing was just an annexation-in-progress. They're just taking it very slowly because if they go too fast, Iran and friends will jump down their throats, and they're not confident that Daddy America will be there to protect them (and they [I]know[/I] the international community won't). Instead of just invading the entire territory and calling it theres, they just take it bit by bit. If they're slow enough, their occupations just become the norm, nobody acts, repeat until you own all of Palestine. Assume Iran doesn't draw a line for them and threaten action (and actually follow up) if they take one more inch.
