Oh and just to make it clear, I checked with a friend of mine in the Israeli air force, and this is apparently an annual drill. Happens every year.
But the media somehow brought it up this year? Doesn't actually surprise me.
I'm deploying popcorn into my mouth. This gon' be good.
But the media somehow brought it up this year? Doesn't actually surprise me.
Yeah, it's called Jennifer Cobra. Loads of Americans come here every year to Nevatim airbase for it.
this is fake right
But the media somehow brought it up this year? Doesn't actually surprise me.
Just like how the media brings up thousands of birds suddenly* dying due to MYSTERIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES** [SUP]* Even though this is a yearly occurrence ** Mysterious circumstances may actually be fireworks[/SUP]
I had almost forgotten that the USA is Israel's personal bitch.
I think we need to ban half the thread for not reading the article, holy shit guys Stop getting so fucking emotional every time you see a middle eastern country in the title
i'm just glad we don't have tony blair to lick america's arse and follow them into a pointless war this time round
"unnamed source" and Iranian state media as the main source with conspiracy theorist sites as the back up sources? Move along people, nothing to see here..
All I'm seeing here are stupid "It's a conspiracy!" sources. Calling crap on this.
It'll probably really happen even if this is fake.
i'm just glad we don't have tony blair to lick america's arse and follow them into a pointless war this time round
David Cameron is no better.
David Cameron is no better.
but i'm more likely to punch tony blair's face
but i'm more likely to punch tony blair's face
Only because your hand would just slip straight off of cameron's oily excuse for a face. [editline]4th January 2012[/editline] I don't like him.
If you don't know whats going on over there then you have no room to talk..
Yes because the United states can afford another war. They barely could afford the last one. Stupid
Yeah, money also is the first thing that comes to my mind when talking about war. The nerve some people have...
Glad we will put Iran in its place.
And once again, I have no sympathy for any dead US soldier in this upcoming war. Question what you are going to war for, there is no excuse for being a puppet.
You're a total dickhead for saying that.
don't you know the best way to fix an economy is to take the largest thing you're spending and wasting money on namely these wars and throw even more money at it if we throw enough predator drones at a problem, terrorism will stop right?
Actually war can be a great economic booster. Doesnt really work if its more of a "Low intensity conflict" than a war though.
Why would the US wage a campaign from Isreal? Why not Afghanistan?
Because it's a propaganda article, like this it strengthens hatred of Israel as well as America.
And once again, I have no sympathy for any dead US soldier in this upcoming war. Question what you are going to war for, there is no excuse for being a puppet.
Lol Forgot about that one didnt you
And once again, I have no sympathy for any dead US soldier in this upcoming war. Question what you are going to war for, there is no excuse for being a puppet.
You can be opposed to a war fair enough, but there is no need to extend hate to the people fighting it. They aren't the ones who decide where to invade.
I wish the US would stop trying to impose its agenda on the rest of the world
And once again, I have no sympathy for any dead US soldier in this upcoming war. Question what you are going to war for, there is no excuse for being a puppet.
You sure are heartless, I'm sure anybody just as bad as you wouldn't give a shit about you when you were in war, and have a family of your own. Most people in the military do it because they can make a living for people they have to take care of.
I wish the US would stop trying to impose its agenda on the rest of the world
Luckily for us the only sources are unreliable at best, and fairly obvious propaganda at worst.
you guys have to be in all the events, dont you?
Oh fuck you America. Another Country that they will take a dump on. The current Government are douchebags but when was the last time America actually improved a situation when they decide to rape a country? Sure hope they won't do anything for a while so I could perhaps hope to see my dad again who is visiting relatives until the 6th. I wish I could get my grandparents out of Iran right now..
Actually the idea of it being troops is a gross exaggeration, the third link (which seems the most reliable) just says we're sending a a single Radar array and the required support to staff it (and probably train the Israelis in it's use.) The rest are fear-mongering articles better left to conspiracy theorists.
I highly question this. Yeah, Israel is a military ally of the United States, and sending troops there is one thing, but how does that equate to an invasion of Iran? The current zeitgeist in America is very anti-war after years of conflict. Obama wouldn't screw up his image by doing something like that. Simply fear-mongering to gullible people.
I'm not going to repost it, but the map being used in the article shows the West Bank belonging to Jordan. Seriously guys, find an up-to-date map. I asked my American History prof today if he thought Iran and the USA would actually go to war. His response was basically that Iran didn't have the balls (very simply put), and that they're reacting to the sanctions being levelled against them. It broke a few hours ago that the EU had agreed 'in principle' to sanctioning Iranian oil. As the primary consumer of Iranian oil, this is going to hurt the Iranian economy a lot. I'd like to believe my professor, but part of me thinks Iran might just be desperate enough to try and pull something. I hope not.
