What? This is good. This means Abbott DOESN'T win.
julia gillard is a fat whore
I'm sorry, what? May you please elaborate.
Gina Rinehart bitched and moaned about how the mining tax would cripple Australia's economy and cause thousands of people to lose jobs. Complete joke.
Holy fuck I Was so afraid it would be abbot.
Fffffffffffffffffffffffffffffuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucccccccccccccccccccccccccccckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesssssssssssssssssssssssss [editline]06:11PM[/editline] my broadband is assured
you already HAD broadband its just that now youre paying several billion for it
you already HAD broadband its just that now youre paying several billion for it
no i had diel up disguised as broadband (australia's budget cuts)
no i had diel up disguised as broadband (australia's budget cuts)
i dunno about you but i get 13mbps
Tony Abbot's talking about Labor and pretty much says "Hopefully they won't suck as much as they did last time." That's why he's more popular than Gillard.
i dunno about you but i get 13mbps
i get 0.12mbps at most
Tony Abbot's talking about Labor and pretty much says "Hopefully they won't suck as much as they did last time." That's why he's more popular than Gillard.
His entire awful campaign was basically say "Labor is worse" as much as possible at any possible time
Cool, better her than Abbot
Gina Rinehart bitched and moaned about how the mining tax would cripple Australia's economy and cause thousands of people to lose jobs. Complete joke.
oh no, it's totally not like the mining companies would, y'know, have another reason for not wanting the tax :downs:. The fact that some people brought into that shit is ridiculous. And as it turns out, the threats to pack up and shut down major operations and mines around the country were empty.
i dunno about you but i get 13mbps
me too, and I feel alright about it given my friend get's 10 but it crush's me when I see Americans/Swedish/Japs with 100Mbps+ merge
Tony Abbot's talking about Labor and pretty much says "Hopefully they won't suck as much as they did last time." That's why he's more popular than Gillard.
they didn't suck, the liberal party just likes to stir shit and attack labor.
I kinda want them to pack up and go because then when they come back in a few years it'll be worth a fuckload more. [editline]05:40PM[/editline]
they didn't suck, the liberal party just likes to stir shit and attack labor.
I know man, I just thought it was funny he had the balls to say that on a press conference.

[editline]05:40PM[/editline] I know man, I just thought it was funny he had the balls to say that on a press conference.
If i were to be in charge of money from the mining tax, i'd invest it in supporting/creating steel mills and shit. We're sending our mined goods to china, they're turning it into regular building supplies and paperclips metal and selling it back to us, and other countries for massive profit.
His entire awful campaign was basically say "Labor is worse" as much as possible at any possible time
thats what labor have been doing for YEARS. maybe he thought he would try their dirty tactics to get in. probably would have if he had boobs and made outrageous and EXPENSIVE promises
If i were to be in charge of money from the mining tax, i'd invest it in supporting/creating steel mills and shit.
And people say Liberals are good with economics :v:
They are, take the Howard era of government for example. I think you'll find budget surplus after budget surplus. Every Labor government for the past 30 years burdened us with spending above our means.
They are, take the Howard era of government for example. I think you'll find budget surplus after budget surplus.
The bottom line is rarely a perfect indicator of how well they have done and in the scenario that Keeshond rescribed, that's hardly good policy.
You do realise that the greens are against the filter and so are the liberals?
You do realize the filter is never going to go through.
Quality response, many would say the same about you :)
I would be one of them. Most of the wankers around here would be hard pressed to even spell government, let alone know of each parties policies. We really should have non-compulsory voting. That way all the tits that can't be bothered and are too lazy to get out to the polls, who would typically be voting for labor or the greens, won't have to waste their time polluting our country with their stupidity. Nobody seems to realise that NOTHING in this world is truely free. You see NBN and say "oh yay, I want cable to my house". Do you have any idea what the cost of that is? The ETS? The Mining Tax? Do any of you immature prats even know what those acronyms mean? Tax? You do know the word tax right? The labor government will and has put us so far into debt and into the hands of our lenders for so long it's far past ridiculous. I struggle to think how even the Liberals could recover that amount and put us back into surplus. TLDR? I'm living in a country where ~50% of the people are fools
Wait, I remember reading somewhere that the liberals wanted the internet filter.
TLDR? I'm living in a country where ~50% of the people are fools
It's mainly just the bogans voting to keep their free welfare payments coming.
no they didn't.
They beat Labour in everything BUT the independent vote
I would be one of them. Most of the wankers around here would be hard pressed to even spell government, let alone know of each parties policies.
It's mainly just the bogans voting to keep their free welfare payments coming.
Have 5 kids, be a slob and get 70k a year from us, the taxpayers. Heck, even the illegal immigrants are better looked after by our government. Any migrant out there that happens to read this and are thinking about paying a shady character for a boat ride to Australia, come on down! We have detention facilities (or hotels if you're really lucky!) and after a short stay, get fast tracked into our civilisation where you can squelch off the rest of us who work for a living and contribute to our society.

Look, the filter is a miniscule issue in the grand scheme of things, and even if it was going to happen, which it won't, it wouldn't stop me from being incredibly happy that Abbott is not the leader of a free country.
Look, the filter is a miniscule issue in the grand scheme of things, and even if it was going to happen, which it won't, it wouldn't stop me from being incredibly happy that Abbott is not the leader of a free country.
We've moved past the filter when it became obvious that most people in government don't want it either. Now we're onto poor economic policy and dole bludgers will destroy us all.
So your basic argument is that everyone except those who agree with you is stupid and dooming everyone. That's nice.
Please point out all the benefits Australia has reaped after changing from a Howard lead Liberal party to a Rudd Labor. SORRY!!! I almost forgot that Labor was doing so poorly that he even got the boot from his own party! It's Gillard now. How silly of me. So anyway, what great things has Labor done for us? Annnnd GO!
