I'm awaiting a massive scandal involving Putin purchasing gay prostitutes and inviting them to his vacation home. It's going to happen.
I'd say he came out of a time portal of 2013 Eastern Europe.
oy man way to generalize, a gay pride parade has been given access to the most important street of Lithuania for this weekend granted there will definitely be a counter-parade at least three times the size of it at the same time just like last time :downs:
Again, it's normal to be half naked on a beach, on a street however, it's not You're saying they jump from the trees naked during black history month? Okay
You've never seen someone shirtless walking down the street?
You've never seen someone shirtless walking down the street?
It's Russia. How often do you see people walking shirtless with a 15c high.
It's Russia. How often do you see people walking shirtless with a 15c high.
If those Russia fail youtube compilations are any indication, every hour of every day Being drunk, belligerent, and half naked = ok in Russia Being sober, friendly, gay, and half naked = not ok in Russia
you just got to be a fucking moron to believe someone is 'on the fence' if they're willing to believe an entire sexual orientation or movement can be judged by a parade if you honestly think if a guy using gay parades as an excuse to dislike gay people and generalize them without being homophobic before was 'on the fence', you're stupid theres no other way to say this
big waste of space
no actually being gay is normal since humans have existed humans have had homosexual relationships. the majority attitude that it is abnormal is only due to about 2 thousand years of religious dogma and prejudice
Yeah, person being naturally attracted to X is completely different from person being naturally attracted to Y. To answer the post you will probably make, yes. Homosexuality was considered a disorder and mental illness too not long ago. I'm not a furry, just a bit more open minded than you double standard asses. Would be funny watching you, in 20 years white knighting furries the same as you do with gays now.
Brony is a nickname for fans of a show, furry is essentially a fetish, and homosexuality is a sexual preference. They are all REALLY different, and you can be one without being the others.
But Joe won't have Neil Patrick Harris in his living room when he sits down with a can of beer, and tugs off his crappy clip on tie. He has George Takai on TV going "ohhh myyyy" and a lisping effeminate fellow chopping on and on about how much he likes glitter and sparkles and big hot dogs tee-hee. Joe isn't a huge fan of these things, or for that matter this type of behavior and this is his biggest exposure to ideas of homosexual lifestyles.
So let me get this straight - because Joe has some internalized perceptions of what gender norms should be, the entire LGBTQA movement has to strip away the pride parades? No. That's delusional. If Joe really cares about treating gays with respect, he'll do research on his own. It takes 3 seconds to google "gay people" on google and start doing some research about the myths and facts about LGBTQA life. As lolwutdude pointed out, people who are turned away by the parades were probably not "on the fence" to begin with. They probably understand very little about terms like "gender roles" and "queer" anyway. [editline]25th July 2013[/editline] Also, as someone who follows Takai on FB/tumblr, he's actually pretty heteronormative. Takai isn't some guy who's running around on the street with nothing but his boxers on. Plus, he occasionally posts some problematic or misogynistic content.
Again, it's normal to be half naked on a beach, on a street however, it's not
You are making pointless distinctions to continue your doublethink.
You are making pointless distinctions to continue your doublethink.
I'm not sure what the distinction between street and beach in Russia is anyway since both are gravel
I can't ignore it any more. What the fuck does the QA stand for?
lesbian gay bisexual transsexual qaulity assurance [editline]25th July 2013[/editline] The pride parade here last year kicked ass, naked men and women everywhere, free stuff, bagpipe parades, it had it all. Maybe russia just isn't doing them right
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/07/22/dutch-tourists-jailed-russia-gay_n_3635803.html Well, it appears that despite the fact that some people mention the law to be limited, it is being used as a very handy tool to remove any LGBT influence from outside the country.

Welp, those are Russian people. And I take offense to the fact that they are not wearing enough clothing. Clearly this is a legitimate reason to commit a full scale genocide of all Russians, simply due to those individuals. No fascism-related ideas here, no sir.
You've never seen someone shirtless walking down the street?
You can go on with your analogy until you say "omg you've never seen another person??". Alright, I get it, it's pointless. I quit. I guess our Russian opinions on sex life are a little rusty by today's standards. [sp]or it's just facepunch, full of socially rejected nerds who keep thinking that they're different and "proud" lmao[/sp]
It's Russia. How often do you see people walking shirtless with a 15c high.
you live in canada and you don't walk shirtless at 15c?
you live in canada and you don't walk shirtless at 15c?
I don't live in cold Canada I live in Vancouver, I don't have to shovel rain. 15C is cold-ish.
Somebody's upset
Genuinely.
Genuinely.
We can tell by the flag under your name no need to let us know.
Discrimination is not based on the idea that people are different. It is based on the idea that one group is superior to another, and deserves special treatment based on such. Otherwise, Americans would not give a fuck about their ethnicity. But, in reality, most Americans feel a strong connection to their original background and roots - Jews care about their Jewish heritage; Italians care about their Italian culture; Eastern Europeans care about their religion and culture (I can vouch for this); etc. Discrimination is not about simply separating people. It's about separating people, and favoring one over the other. You can still acknowledge your differences, and treat each other with respect. You're acting as if parades are the ONLY measure that the LGBTQA take. Of course they're mobilized beyond parades. That doesn't mean parades should be stripped away because they're not "normal." Why should your culture/ethnicity matter, and your sexuality not matter? Sexuality has a much stronger bearing on your life than your ethnicity. For many Americans, ethnicity is nothing more than a bunch of genes. Sexuality is something that you live with every day, until you die. A sexual person has every right to celebrate their sexuality, especially when society is telling them they should not. The pride parade is a big "FUCK YOU" to the idea that LGBTQA should be quiet about their sexuality; that they should silently enter normativity. In reality, the movement is meant as a gateway to other oppressed groups - you can still enter society, without playing by their rules. We know this is true - pride parades have been going strong for years, the United States and the UK are more and more legally accepting LGBTQA communities, and LGBTQA communities are constantly growing. It depends on the source. http://ok2bme.ca/meaning Many people are moving to remove "Ally" and turn it into "Asexual," because, realistically, I don't face the same sort of oppression that an L, G, B, T, or Q person does :v:.
Two spirited? :v: like schizophrenic?
Two spirited? :v: like schizophrenic?
Generally, the term refers to people who feel they are partly male and partly female. Not sure how accurate that is, someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Not surprising in the least. These days, everybody hating everybody is all the rage. Homosexuals are just another face on the totem pole.
or it's just facepunch, full of socially rejected nerds who keep thinking that they're different and "proud" lmao
The irony here is that the Russian government thinks homosexuals have different rights from "proud" heterosexuals.
Two spirited? :v: like schizophrenic?

Two-Spirit People (also Two Spirit or Twospirit) is an umbrella term sometimes used for what was once commonly known as berdaches /bərˈdæʃɨz/, Indigenous North Americans who fulfill one of many mixed gender roles found traditionally among many Native Americans and Canadian First Nations communities. Third gender roles historically embodied by Two-Spirit people include performing work and wearing clothing associated with both men and women. The presence of male two-spirits "was a fundamental institution among most tribal peoples."[1] Male and female two-spirits have been "documented in over 130 tribes, in every region of North America."[2]
Alternatively, though, it might be another word for "Otherkin"
Alright, I get it, it's pointless. I quit. I guess our Russian opinions on sex life are a little rusty by today's standards.
Actually, for all the time I lived in Russia and generally learned from my parents/friends, Russia's opinion on sex life are non existent as such. Sex education is not widely public, and is generally seen as redundant, and kept aback as something extra (an extra course you can take, a pamphlet left in a clinic). The assumption is that sex is little more than intercourse between man and a woman. Anything beyond/besides that is considered as largely pointless (sex toys, foreplay, fetish realization) or deviant (homosexuality). You know, in general, Russia's stance on sexuality is that of a biological need. Therefore anything not exactly relevant to reproduction (which is, not to say that sex is not seen as means of enjoyment - contraceptives are widely available and abortions can be done quickly and efficiently) is seen as deviating from the point. You'd think that it wouldn't mean much, but it simply divides the public view into "acceptable" and "deviant". Hence the reason why homosexuals are often considered to be equals to pedophiles and those who commit bestiality. It's a simple division between "us" and "them" that majority of people can follow, keeping their sexuality in the closet. There is a good reason why Russia is such a depressed country and at the same time, a major production point of pornography. To be honest, the only reason why there is even 16% of people out there who do not condemn sexuality, is because of the internet's capacity for providing information. That's 16% of 200,000,000 population. Speaking of the population numbers, for all that "straight talk", it doesn't look like the population is doing much of the whole growing thing. Also, I feel like Russia is falling back with the usual ways of trying to set up a system where people don't have to think as much as they have to follow. The church is actively trying to get itself back as a major influence (possibly living off the success of the thousands of missionaries that started flooding the country after the collapse of USSR) while the government looks like it's trying to get isolationism going to a good point (censorship and control of media, Putin's Youth organizations for the sake of having a hand in the growth of next generation, continuing growing mistrust for the west). Anyway, I don't think I should keep going on about Politics, since there is little point to speech and much to further observation.
yo im uniting the hood to fight against putin and shit homeboy all my bloods and crips together who in?
or it's just facepunch, full of socially rejected nerds who keep thinking that they're different and "proud" lmao
I'd rather be a socially rejected nerd than a bigoted person who has no business with other people's sexual preferences.
