I love how mad 4chin was getting over this
god forbid they have a good, close bo5, right? NAH MAN RAT DOTO RAT DOTO LOL EASY WIN FUCK ALLIANCE
that shit was intense
i don't know why people cry about "hurr durr no big teamfight", that was a brilliant move alliance pulled off
Some people prefer to witness a game-ending teamfight as opposed to a slow, inevitable PVE race. Not that it makes Alliance's play any less impressive.
The entire International 3 tournament was very well done.
it's amazing you can be making more then an engineer or doctor playing DOTA
not saying theres anything wrong with it, athletes are millionaires after all for playing a game
Most Dota2 pros don't really make much though, and I can't imagine that all the prize pool is split between the players.
Loda (one of the players on Alliance) bought half of the merchandise store and started throwing it out into the crowd after the match.
It was a nice tournament.
Watch them blow all the money doing stuff like this or just buying random crap.

It was confirmed Valve just gave all the merchandise away because "cba loading all this spare shit into a truck again".
Any youtube videos of the finale?
I can't start dota 2 right now.

Well then, even more money to blow.
i won 200 bucks predicting 3-2 alliance.
ez money ez life
Navi handled defeat well, much sportsmanship among them.
Still searching for good Youtube videos, all I can find is 4.5 hours with french and arab commentary

300k each for the members of Alliance, yeah man that would do me for a year pretty well.

You can watch the replays in the DotA client, best place to watch it to be honest.
Can't start the client, I'm on my netbook not at home.

it should have English next to the names
Is there any youtube videos following one player throughout the entire match?
You can do this in the game client by downloading the replay for free. :)
How the fuck did he pull that shit off with the alchemist in the beginning?

Just finished watching the replays, I was routing for Na'Vi but Alliance totally deserved to win it in the end.
lol holy fuck you guys cannot detect sarcasm
i am fully aware of the fact that i am on a video game forum and that they have made more money in a week than i will make in a period of time that is significantly longer than a week
[editline]12th August 2013[/editline]
(the joke was that i was acting like what they did was the same thing as playing call of doot doot)
[editline]12th August 2013[/editline]
or maybe i was commenting on the cultural and societal insignificance of competitive video games and grouping it into the same category as professional sports in terms of undeserved pay????? ??
i dont even really know??
Just because it's sarcasm doesn't make your joke any less bad.
Watch them blow all the money doing stuff like this or just buying random crap.
Some people do this ars gratia artis, not for the money.

Nor Valves dota2 site or reddit themselves has any spoilers in any posts or threads
Over 250k per person holy fuck.
So much better then TI2. Alliance deserved the win and we got to see the longest game in competitive dota history.

I feel like I am the only one who doesn't understand MOBAs at all; I tried playing DotA 2 but couldn't get into it. I was watching the finals yesterday but had no idea what was going on, it just looked like any other match.
