I really don't get why PETA does these things. I can't remember what the P stands for, but the rest stands for Ethical Treatment of Animals, right? From where I'm standing, they seem to concentrate more on publicity stunts advertising and trying to stop people from eating meat and therefore stop animals from being killed, no matter how well they were treated in life, over actually getting animals to be treated better.
