I'd imagine the reason is it would be annoying to hear loud bangs everytime an airplane flew over your house, which is several times a day?

You would be hearing sonic booms multiple times a day. Good way to wake the baby.
That would be heaven for me. Jets make the best sounds.
Shame such a majestic piece of engineering will soon be turned into a capsule of misery by the airlines
Why?
Have fun paying for glass windows over every city you fly over. Though the more important bit is the fact that it would result in very severe overreaching of decibel volumes.
I'd assume because it was a test flight, and they weren't flying at standard hights, so they kept the landing gear down just in case they had to land right away.
Absolutely right. It happens on every maiden flight of every aircraft.
Why?
You really want your windows shattered at 0200 by a jet lol?

Wingtips seem different than most of their aircrafts. The fence wingtips look cool :<

I still find it amazing how close the A350 came to look from the concept drawings.
