Can't wait for the movie adaptation.
Damn, that's a horrible way to die.
Yeah, as thieves.
Yeah but why? Why would fireworks be in it, that's all I want to know. Were they actually fireworks or explosives used for the company, because that makes a lot more sense.
So an errant spark wouldn't blow up the building. It's a proper way to store explosives. A pretty bomb is still a bomb.
helpiminabox is just curious, they're not insinuating that it's bad or unreasonable to keep fireworks in a safe. I also haven't heard of anyone keeping fireworks in a safe, so I'm curious too. Your explanation makes sense.
A lot of firework related accidents happen, specially with children. So it is always suggested that they kept locked up. They're just as dangerous as guns because people don't see fireworks as explosives when in reality they are. That is why when you get in to the larger more powerful ones you pretty much answer to the ATF and go though explosive and destructive device compliance. Gotta have licenses and people who actually are experienced.
this is a good idea... 5 safes, 4 loaded with fireworks, only 1 got the cash, thief killer.
the worst part is that gun was planted, the whole show is faked, the safe probably was unlocked when they got it and they locked it but didn't have a combo. this is why safe-crackers do exist.... unless thats the one storage show on spike, because i think those two guys actually are real cas the one does run a prop-house, and the other does something else, but its possible they run a side business
The worst part about that episode was their reaction upon discovering the gun. Their reaction was basically "Welp, that plasma cutter was awesome, wooo look at that burning paper. What's this? lets sell it"
Why do people even try to break into safes like this? If it's hot enough to destroy the lock, the contents will be long destroyed, especially if it's money. So why do they do it this way?
So an errant spark wouldn't blow up the building. It's a proper way to store explosives. A pretty bomb is still a bomb.
It's not even that, I don't see why a landscaping company would need fireworks. It's just a little strange is all.
It's not even that, I don't see why a landscaping company would need fireworks. It's just a little strange is all.
Like i stated in a post above, there's a general contractor here who has a pyro license and does fireworks shows for people. It's possible that it's a side job or hobby of the owner of the company.
This sounds like something you'd read in the Darwin Awards.
Isn't that for people dying dumb while they could've avoided it I don't see how being smart helps you detect explosives in a safe
Could also be charges for splitting rocks. I know shit like that at least is required by law to be locked up.
Yeah, It's probably downright explosives instead of just fireworks. And now if I ever get a safe, I'd make sure it's a hidden one, and have a decoy safe filled with explosives.

They knew they'd be robbed, so they took out all the money and gold and buried treasure they had, and loaded that cocksucker up with fireworks. All of this was a long-winded, convoluted plot specifically designed to fuck with your head and leaving you wondering why they did it. Well, I won't play along! LSK deserves to know the truth, goddamn it!

Who the fuck cares why he had fireworks in a company safe, it's his company safe. He can fill it with fucking Twinkies if he wants to, it's his safe.
He can fill it with fucking Twinkies if he wants to
Yes.
As for the company having fireworks in a safe, pretty much all fireworks that aren't 1.4G, i.e. rated for regular consumer use, can easily rip your head off if it hits there, or act much like real life handgrenades or explosives if it's salutes, which is pretty much just gunpowder and a highly explosive substance, usually flash powder, which is probably why it's kept in a safe.

The owner probably had extra fireworks after 4th of july, and wanted to store them. The report says he keeps his equipment in that garage too. He probably thought it was a good safe storage spot instead of keeping it out with the mowers and people which could possibly set them off. Who cares really, he can do what he wants with his shit.
