He lost control of the rear wheel drive supercar on a sharp bend near Brokdorf, just north of Hamburg. After the crash the driver's door ended up 100ft (30m) away and the car was described as a "total loss". The man was driving with a 19-year-old female passenger and both of them walked away from the accident with minor injuries. Police are investigating whether he was speeding when he lost control of the car on the 50mph road. The Gumpert Apollo has a top speed of 225mph (360kph) and goes from 0 to 60mph in less than three seconds.
**SOURCE** He certainly didn't do that while going the speed limit. Regardless, that kid is probably being taken off the will and being moved into the garage as a message from his father that he gets to sleep in the room of something he loved more than his son.
it's a shame stuff like this happens [editline]18th April 2011[/editline] nice cars getting wrecked, that is
Odds are if his dad could afford that thing in the first place, he can buy another twenty. Either way, lucky fucks to walk away.

Wasn't this rated Top Gear ugliest car?
That is a really awesome looking car
No because he wouldn't have had that car if he wasn't insanely rich and spoiled so he might get a slap (tap) on the wrist and then he'll get a new car.
You think it's not possible that somewhat wealthy guy who really loves cars would save money for few years, even from which relatively high, to buy a car of his dreams? Yeah, there are people who can buy twenty, and there are people who can't buy single one in their entire life. But there are also people who might be able to buy one after some significant saving.
Nice looking car, After the crash that is.
:I He sure was angry, that's pretty expensive.
I'd rip off his head and shit down his neck.
he can now buy a prettier car.

Besides, such a car would have insurance. Situation like this, the insurance company writes them a check for L275000, and then doubles their costs to make up for it.
Probably wishes the car took his son with him...
That is a really awesome looking car
Reminds me of Hot Wheels
Wow he must've been driving fast. The car's paint turned from orange to black!
Lucky fuck... He probably got a brand new one some time later...
Reminds me of Hot Wheels
Didn't really crash like a Hot Wheels car though.
with a car like that he probably was getting road head at the time.
And now Jeremy Clarkson's words pop into my head. Mostly mocking the car's name. Gumpert.
I bet he had some sort of really expensive insurance. If he didn't he's a fucking moron.
He'll probably order a new car and a hit on his son.
Police are investigating whether he was speeding when he lost control of the car on the 50mph road.
If he lost controll while driving 50mph he is one of a bad driver. And according to this picture [img_thumb]http://news.bbcimg.co.uk/media/images/52160000/jpg/_52160083_after.jpg[/img_thumb] road seems to be pretty damn straight.
he can now buy a prettier car.
It already looks significantly prettier than before he took it for a spin :v:
yes you can tell what the road is like from a 5 meter section of a photo christ
You can presume it from looking at the picture and can anyone get us some more information of this road?
A damn waste :/
Field safety test: Successful.
You can presume it from looking at the picture and can anyone get us some more information of this road?
It even says in the OP that he lost control on a sharp bend, and while it was a 50MP/h road he could've easily been doing 100MP/h.
Some little shit in Germany just destroyed the one car I hope I get to even SEE in person, I am mortified. The Gumpert is my favorite supercar.
