If I ever had the money to afford a car that expensive, I wouldn't let my kid drive it until he was put through racing school.
Was he trying to impress the girl?
regardless insurance + if you can afford the car you'll be fine
Read about this a few days ago. Sucks to be him, I guess.
I always guessed that supercars were safe cars. It appears my thoughts were right.

so he was blatantly showing off like a twat. 20 years old he probably doesn't even realise the value of money enough to give a shit spoilt little fuck.

Instead of wasting money on a car like that, you can always get this. Impossible to crash.
reading the title it made me think he wrote it off on taxes like buying a "supercar" is a natural expense or something
btw, what's average highway speed over there? I've heard 100, 130km/h.
If I had a car that looked like that, I'll be sure to obliterate it as soon as possible.
If I had that Car I'd sell it, get a normal car and buy an apartment with the rest of the dosh and pay for College.
You think it's not possible that somewhat wealthy guy who really loves cars would save money for few years, even from which relatively high, to buy a car of his dreams?
Yeah, there are people who can buy twenty, and there are people who can't buy single one in their entire life. But there are also people who might be able to buy one after some significant saving.
But its not just the intial 275,000 pounds, remember you have to insure it, and a lot of maintainence/expensive parts.
Theres a lot more to owning expensive cars then just the initial outlay.
If he lost controll while driving 50mph he is one of a bad driver.
And according to this picture [img_thumb]http://news.bbcimg.co.uk/media/images/52160000/jpg/_52160083_after.jpg[/img_thumb] road seems to be pretty damn straight.
nice cars getting wrecked, that is
It's just a car. All that matters is your happiness, and stuff that really matters. Like your computer.

I am aware how much I sound like a hippie computer nerd
I'm actually saving up to buy any future Ferrari.
