Sure is fun getting a migraine headache and feeling like you're in an oven and then taking three showers a day just to be out in the sun. But seriously, last time I went out in the sun I had a headache so I came in an laid down, started hallucinating and shit. Seeing voxels of light floating through the air, and I saw some arms coming through the walls and heard them scratching around and shit. It was terrible.
Are you sure you weren't tripping balls that weekend in "the sun"
From what I've been able to gather, one does some of these activities outside while socializing: - Smoking - Drinking - Talking with people of lesser intelligence. I really don't like doing any of those 3.
The hell is with these retarded studies as of lately? Did we really need to study this?
The hell is with these retarded studies as of lately? Did we really need to study this?
did you really need to post this
No.
No.
Dude, like, these studies empirically confirm people's intuitions and adds to the knowledge pool which has a variety of implications.
Next week I am leaving to a three week camp outside, in tents \:v:/ But if these 30 degree heats keep happening, I will probably spend most of the time around noon curled up under a tree or something. Heat is the worst thing. My body stops willing to functon if outside temperature goes over 28C.
i love the great outdoors, how can you say inside > outside? you people need to get out more.
i love the great outdoors, how can you say inside > outside? you people need to get out more.
I don't think that "getting out" is something that will on it's own make you want to. People should figure out that in SOME cases, you can feel good while outside. I personally live in a huge city, and just getting out on the street sort of sucks. Getting somewhere into forests, tho, that's another story. I don't get out much, over the week, but weekends I often spend on cottage that's right next to forest, and I am looking towards the camp, quite a bit.
I went outside once. It was awful.
School is all I need to get my daily dose of social interaction. Even then I hear the most stupidest things. Edit: honestly, if I want to talk to people I will either go onto teamspeak or mumble.
yep nomad i'm sure everyone in our teamspeak feels the same way. spend all my time inside with my girlfriend cause vidjya gaems.
Teens aren't happy because they're active and outdoors; teens are active and outdoors because they're happy. As someone who hasn't left my house in about two weeks and has clinical depression, I can confirm this. What they're saying just doesn't make sense. I guess they're giving the cause and effect backwards because "Study: Unhappy teens less likely to live social, active, and outdoor lifestyles" sounds really obvious and useless. By useless, I mean you can't actually use the information to do much. The way they tell it sounds like you could make people happier just by going outside. It sounds, uh, hopeful, I guess is the word.
some examples of fun shit you can do outside that is good for you -kayaking -swimming -jogging -hiking -sports -social outings -not being a fat stupid recluse
There's a bike trail behind our house. Literally behind our house. And it goes on for MIIIILES. I like to walk/jog one day, bike the next, so on. At least that's what I've been doing since a few months ago. Yeah, behind outside, especially in such a nice summer, feels mentally and physically great!
From what I've been able to gather, one does some of these activities outside while socializing: - Smoking - Drinking - Talking with people of lesser intelligence. I really don't like doing any of those 3.
your attitude and overall awkwardness makes it difficult for others to get along with you so you cope by reassuring yourself that the problem isn't you, everyone else is just stupid but seeing as you can't even muster the basic thinking skills to realize that there is actually loads of shit to do at social events besides smoke and drink I have reason to believe you are legitimately retarded
So I will feel happier if I rub my dick against the lamp post then my table
i love going out and doing shit but when you done crashed your car right before summer starts then suddenly all that money you saved goes bye-bye
I live in Detroit. I honestly prefer to stay inside.
I few weeks ago, I started up an exercise routine where I go for a walk about about 30 minutes. On average, I cover about 2.4 miles in 22 minutes. I always feel great after a good walk, and I actually lost some weight while doing this. That said, I have forgotten to go walking for a couple of weeks. I need to go for a walk again. Also, for anyone who thinks that they're depressed, and they spend a lot of time indoors, try to find out if you have a Vitamin D deficiency. Often times, people with a Vitamin D deficiency experience feelings of depression and misdiagnose it.
Yeah going outside can be a lot of fun, if I'm ever near an air hockey table I try to invite strangers to play with me and if I'm winning I smash the puck as hard as I can to try and knock it out of the game so they can't beat me.

Outside is really boring, especially when all your friends only play one type of sport.
Obvious news is very obvious. But I guess people are through that seeing as how we're on page three.
I'll go out more in the winter, I hate the heat so fucking much.
I used to go outside all the time... ... When I had friends to go outside with (they all moved away) I still go outside either to sit or help dad with a few things and it makes me happy
From what I've been able to gather, one does some of these activities outside while socializing: - Smoking - Drinking - Talking with people of lesser intelligence. I really don't like doing any of those 3.
Try longboarding.
I almost never go outside but I'm happy. I hate sport and don't feel a huge need for social interactions, so there isn't much to do outside. Not like at home where there are interesting things to do like playing music, video games, reading books, browsing the internet, etc.
While I like going outside, there is almost nothing to do in the area, which is why I prefer staying inside. I obviously still go outside but most of my time is spent inside. I can go ride my bike to the 5 places I've already been to 50 times and most people I know just wander around town doing mostly nothing since the town is one of the most boring places on the earth. I'd just like to live in a more interesting place.
eliminate all insects within a 200 mile radius of my house and then I'll think about going outside also some friends that will go outside with me and an interesting place to go and less people from school that will recognize me and start fucking with me actually, I think I'll just stay inside
I used to go outside all the time and fish and stuff when I was younger, but then I moved to this shit hole and now I'm inside all the time. [editline]23rd June 2012[/editline] and i hate everyone
