I remember we had a thread a while back discussing whether it was right to allow children to have transgender therapy. I was actually in support of it because if someone really wants to be a woman/man or as close as they can become, it's much better to start the hormone therapy as early as possible.

For a transgender person getting hormone therapy as an adult, their brain and body has already developed as a man or woman due to the respective sex hormone profiles and their effects on the development of the brain and body.
