Spanglish es so stupid, no me like.
quiero un amigo de tacos
it seems more like something an ignorant tourist in a Hispanic country would do. "excuse me, sir, but donde esta la bathroomes?"
Ruglish is beter. O ble friends, dai mne vodka.
Mixing languages makes you forget one of the 2.
No hablo Spanish.
It's the same now for Polish and English, i constantly switch between the two but only when i don't know a word in Polish.
I am Spanish and I hate that Americans think that we come from Mejico. It is so annoying!
Si tu parles spanglish you should be shot parce que tu es a big fat cunt.
I don't get why you people are getting your knickers in a twist over this. So some people mix two languages. Big deal. Leave them to it, they're going to have to speak purely English if they go into any American establishment anyway.

THIS. I swear, my dad (who's Spanish) was in America during his birthday and some jackass friend of my mom's greeted him with a mariachi hat saying "Just making you feel like home!"
Heyy papi ~
What about Singapore, they do Singlish.

This.
Americans just do not seem to notice the real true cultures, most of them are ignorant to the real country's and just take the stereotypes they see on tv as fact, leading to a lot of Europeans thinking they are dumb and disliking Americans as a whole. I never hear Britian for what it really is from an americans mouth, all I get is TEA AND CRUMPETS ANYBODY BY JOVE JOLLY GOOD LOLOLOL

:fsmug:
Depends on where you go in America. A friend of mine often finds that you can get impromptu discounts simply for having the accent.

This is true, they also brand Dutch, Swiss, Swedes and French from the same country "Europe"

Classic. Europe the country.

Like I said, this really does depend on the area. In the case I described, it was cinema tickets in a relatively backwater town. Not sure if it'd go down as well in, say, New York.
have to hand it to the Americans though from the ones Ive dealt with they are a courteous bunch, very polite.
English is a very easy language to learn, so it shouldn't come as a surprise if we see kids speaking Spanglish all the time, until they learn enough English to the point they become fully bilingual...
Wait, isn't English one of the hardest?

I hate that too. They make the rest of us look bad.
I, for one, welcome the evolution of language.

I have no problem with it. I can usually figure out what they are saying, anyway.

Depends on what linguistic typology you've grown up with.
Ironic, considering that English is latifrenman (a combination of Latin, French and German).

True, but we didn't just merge the two languages, we evolved over time taking words from many cultures.
Oh no, how dare they mingle our perfectly good English language with other lesser languages! What sort of meshuganas do they take us for, I want to hear people speaking good old English words like cuisine and touché.

Only because cultures are a lot less isolated now then they were back then. Back when English was in it's infancy, travel was not quick or simple. Media was limited to books, which only educated people could read. Now compare that to modern day, where I can travel from one end of my country to the other in a day, where most people are literate, where people can communicate instantly from one side of the globe to the other and where information can be accessed at the click of a button.
This is no different than from what happened with the creation of English - just that technology has rapidly accelerated the process.
What's the point of combining two languages like that? I can understand maybe the occasional word or two, but this is just stupid.
I fucking hate this with a passion. Seriously, I speak English, Spanish and French, and I NEVER mix languages. Fucking speak properly. It's even more annoying when they talk with the ghetto Hispanic slang. I just want to slap them in the face with a taco.
Funny, if you were talking about Nigerish or Somalish, and wanted to slap them in the face with a watermelon or chicken you'd be banned.
please dont hurt me th89
