And then someone just intentionally deletes things just to stir up more trouble...
Deletes what from where?
It'd suck if his Twitter account was next. It's one of his few means of communicating if his site went down.
For some reason I don't think that is going to happen. I dunno why I just get this feeling about Twitter wanting to remain neutral. Their Facebook page might be at risk though.
The only "illegal" activity that the U.S. has actually been able to pin on Assange is "suprise sex". (Apparently that's enough for an international arrest warrant, too.)
The people giving him the information are breaking the law, so that would count as "encouraging illegal activity."
But the good thing is they don't know was the Leak[er{s}]

Pretty sure they do.

Except that they aren't encouraging it. They are just providing a means for people to leak information, not helping anyone do it.
They don't have [solid] proof that it's him.

They haven't caught everyone though, have they?
poor them
They don't have [solid] proof that it's him.
They have some chat logs where he admits it, but I dunno if that would count as "solid" proof.

What, like online chat logs?
What, like online chat logs?
Yeah
The people giving him the information are breaking the law, so that would count as "encouraging illegal activity."
That's like saying any store "encourages illegal activities" Because you can spend money there, even if it's gained through illicit means.
Except that they aren't encouraging it. They are just providing a means for people to leak information, not helping anyone do it.
In my opinion they are doing nothing more than what newspapers have done for many years. Nobody has ever hunted down the editor in chief of a newspaper for publishing leaked documents.
That's not solid proof. In any other event, it would hardly considered even evidence, I strongly believe.

This is a terms of service agreement- the ability to make arguments based on semantics and technicalities is the sole right of the PayPal.

Oh, right, okay. I almost forgot the whole point to this thread.
Release the code now.
Why?
Release the code now.
Why? Wikileaks is still up, they are still able to communicate with the world. Not to mention something like 5 newspapers have the files already.
The people giving him the information are breaking the law, so that would count as "encouraging illegal activity."
But people say "go kill yourself" all the time, and suicide is illegal (in many places). This all seems a bit fishy to me.
Closed my paypal account, don't want to do business with these assbags anymore.
Closed my paypal account, don't want to do business with these assbags.
Haha, then soon enough there won't be a service you will be using because every sane business will reject wikileaks.
Paypal randomly locks accounts for no reason anyway
Seeing as pretty much all the major newspapers in the US has the files, they should release another version that's under the radar, and if shit goes down, release the password for the new one.

Actually no, I'd rather have society read everything the Government has hidden.
Someone should DDOS Paypal until they re-enable the Wikileaks account.
