Killing floor is an amazing game. This already looks very very very promising. Animating weapons in 200+FPS just so the zed time animations aren't jarring. That's a labour of love.
This is always a classic game for me and my friends to go to when we're bored. I'm really excited for this.
Based Tripwire
They better keep the same good old british voice acting in it.
19 points of dismemberment? God damn this game is going to be gruesome and brutal
Imagine playing Firebug with the M12 Dragon's Breath Trenchgun with the new gore system. It will be gruesome and satisfying as hell.
As an animation nerd I am really happy that they are putting so much effort into the animations. Really excited for this.
Holy shit, YES!
I just hope they don't DLC the shit out of it.
The initial DLC was only skins and weapon packs. There seems to be one community made weapon dlc but it is fine really. They released all maps and weapons that they made themselves for free.
Why early access though?
Killing Floor 2 is coming to Steam Early Access for Windows and Valve's SteamOS
My big question.
Will there be a story mode? I'd love one.
Why early access though?
Why not? They're a well reputed developer, and you get to be part of the development process.
I wonder if Foster as seen in one of the images will be free from start.

Killing Floor with hats.
Or maybe we get early access DLC.
The future of DLC is to make the DLC even early access alpha.
My big question.

I'd love there to be one, the back story is pretty neat for the original KF and there even used to be a singleplayer campaign in the original killing floor mod.
Holy shit, let me preorder already! Give me your price, I'd fucking pay it I love this game to death
foster looks like a tough guy now with that tough guy jacket
Why early access though?
for balancing purposes, obviously.
First Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire, and now this, this week is shaping up to be a very promising week and making me a happy man.
Why early access though?
dosh
What I'd love is unique voice acting for all the characters.
But then everyone would just pick either Briar or Masterson regardless :v:
Why early access though?
Fuck I guess I have to wait a year to buy it then.
Hopefully this time they'll be able to live off of cosmetics after release.
I'm not a fan of those paid weapon DLCs
I hope they keep the british theme with it but really go to town with it more aswell.

Being able to choose a voice regardless the character and gender and maybe change pitch a little bit would be nice.
I don't think I've ever seen an SH thread blow up this fast with so many winners in the OP. It's crazy how much of a following Killing Floor has.
i just hope it doesn't go the same way as RO2
RO2 is great now though
Shit; this sequel looks amazing.
And I can't fucking get over this quote from the article. I love it
KF2 will support Steam Workshop for mods. Tripwire will release a mod SDK. "That's one of the things we're very adamant about," Gibson says. "We like to prod DICE and EA on this one occasionally. They've essentially come out and said that games have progressed to the point [that they] don't believe the community can make content for [their] games. I say that's total BS. People are smart. That's selling them short. They will figure out their tools. If we can do it, smart kids out there are going to figure it out too."

Bill Munk, creative director and senior animator at Tripwire, has a saying: Red Orchestra is realism. Killing Floor is coolism.
"Killing Floor is a simple game," says Munk. "You have weapons. You see something that looks messed up. And you kill it. You get money for doing it and you buy better weapons. Rinse and repeat. The more enjoyable that small little loop is, the more successful the game is."
Munk is one of Tripwire's co-founders. He couldn't hide his enthusiasm for games if he tried; over dinner, he gushes about how he played a borrowed copy of Metal Gear Solid in his college dorm for an entire weekend, substituting caffeine for sleep. When Munk talks about Killing Floor 2, most of his sentences end with "as sick as possible."
Well I'm sold.
I just hope playing KF1 will give us something cool in the sequel
also lol at marphy black rating it 'late'
marphitimus blackimus why

All tripwire games had a bad launch, now they atleast have an excuse.
