I really hope all of KF1's cosmetic DLCs are transferable to KF2.
They're not. On the TWI forums in the KF2 section, they confirmed they were not looking into doing a DLC transfer.
I wonder how the gun tiers and levels will work this time around.

I do hope that it's not AS much if a grind, but still difficult.
Could also be interesting if they did branching levels instead of a linear progression.
Killing Floor is only one of my most favorite games of all time. I might piss myself just to demonstrate my excitement.
hope the game supports LAN.
hope the game supports LAN.
is this reply supposed to be serious?
Unreal tournament
Phantom Pain
AlphaSaphire
and now KF2
2014 is turning out to be just like 2004, as one of the best years for video games for me.
I'm glad they're adding plenty of gore and dismemberment. My main complaint with the original is that the enemies don't really react and match up to the satisfying guns, making it feeling like every shot is in thin air. This looks like a total improvement.
I just hope they don't expect people to play 500 hours like KF or RO2. The amount of time it takes to advance ranks is totally ridiculous.

I'm more concerned about the "pro tryhards" that play this.
They already fucked up the m82 sniper rifle because "hurr too powerful" and instead of making it more balanced, they just made it completely useless by making its ammo cost a fuckton of money for no reason.
I better still be able to play as Harry Enfield.

what is RO
shit man I do miss me some pipebombs costing 89 dosh each when you're a lvl 6 demo and using them as a hat and doing a suicide charge to the pat.
It'd be nice if the trailer used this music:

Hope you can change music tracks easily like in the first Killing Floor, I want this to be my KFmenu.ogg again.
Am I the only one here that didn't like the original Killing Floor?
Pretty much yeah.
A spokesman for Tripwire Interactive was quoted as saying "Dosh grab it while you can!".

Actually it still has a niche use, if you run 9mm and the rifle and collect all ammo crates you can exclusively use the rifle to annihilate FPs.
It's not an optimal strategy, but I guarantee you will find more bullets than FPs most of the time.
It's still mostly useless, but I see what they wanted to do, they didn't want to nerf the damage because then it would be an xbow reskin, so they upped the price.
I wouldn't be upset with say, making xbow more about the piercing factor (so an anti-trash sharp gun) and the AMR anti-bigdood but things worked out how they did.
There's only so much variance you can create with sniper rifles, they're a very boring mechanic in most FPSes
This is going to be glorious.
I believe you're wrong. It is actually going to be gore...ious

Except they upped the price way too much.
If you empty it, you're better off either searching for ammo crates, or even selling it back and buying a new one. It costs so.fucking.much to actually fill it, and it doesn't even has that much ammo to fill..
They could have made it weak in other places. Say, make the reload sequence slower, slower bolt cycle (can't remember if it had, but I think it did) slower running speed while having it pulled out... All that, instead of making it completely useless and too expensive to actually use.
Plus, at harder levels, specimens don't give that much money, nor do you find many guns to sell or ammo crates to collect.
Those tests the tryhard players made were completely idiotic. Shooting FPs on a line and judging how powerful a gun is just because of how many bullets it takes to kill a specimen on a certain level of difficulty isn't comparable to having to shoot the same specimen in the same difficulty in an actual level, with more specimens around.
Yeah, use it exclusively for FPs, never ever use it against anything else including scrakes, if your team is good they'll cover the scrakes and shit for you.
It's a weapon to fuck around and have fun with if you're good enough to use it and your team supports you sensibly it'll work.
Also I don't care what you say, one shotting FPs on suicidal is insane, nobody else except a demoman dropping pipebombs can do that.
Has anyone seen the pc gamer kf 2 skin for getting the new issue ? It's a reskinned dr foster character with the word dosh and is in red.
So fucking hyped.
Bit of a shame that it's on UE3, but can't wait for it regardless!
Think of it in the same way as KF is technically on Unreal 2, it's hardly comparable.
Holy shit, YES!
I just hope they don't DLC the shit out of it.
I was totally fine with the cosmetic DLC's but when I stopped playing for a while only to get back into it and find that there were guns I couldn't use without the proper DLC I thought that was bullshit

they all suck except flareguns so don't feel too bad

sealsqueal is a nice sidegrade, but the rocket launcher is awful
It's good to see there are still a few devs left who actually care, love their job and are competent at their doing of things at the same time. I see no way this can turn out to be a bad game. I followed the project since it was a singleplayer Unreal Tournament 2004 mod: every single developer should take this as an example of probably the best way to handle a game concept (DLC being questionable, of course).
I always liked how the specimens in Killing Floor weren't just mindless zombies and actually had some element of genuine malice to them.
i just hope leveling up your class skill will be slightly more in-depth and wont take months to grind up this time around.
