I can't wait to see the looks of the Scrake, Husk and the Bloat.
Good to see the soundtrack is coming back better than ever. Probably one of the strongest things the original Killing Floor had going for it, in my opinion, was the zYnthetic soundtrack.
Hmpf, no :P
Despite over 2000 hours in total spent on Killing Floor (counting time pre-Steam mod too), one of the first things I ever did was turn off that god awful Death Metal. Its completely out of place and severely detracts from the atmosphere or feeling of the game.
On an actual gameplay note too, audio in a game is crucial and its impossible to tell where an invisible enemy is or whenever some important audio cue plays when its being overblown by some punk screamo music going 'BWAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRGGGHHH, DUNANANANANNANAANANA'.
The strongest thing in KF in my opinion was the cockney British accents.

I personally like some of the tracks, even if they are not the most fitting choices for the game like KF. And maybe you should try turning down the music volume if you really are having trouble hearing the zeds, because I can hear them just fine when music plays and can pretty much identify them too without much of a problem if they are nowhere to be seen but are in hearing range.

Not only you got the genre of the OST wrong once but you manage to get it wrong twice by mentioning it as two radically different kinds of music.
Better have D.A.R and Steampunk DJ Skelly. Those 2 are my favorite.
Zynthetic is back, fuck yes.
zYnthetic never left.
I'm more excited for the Drum n Bass returning than the metal.
I dunno if all of these have been posted but there's been a mass surge of screens at GAF:

theres more in the thread.
It may not be metal, like the rest of the KF soundtrack, but Stress by Justice always seemed very fitting.

That's not metal, only exception of the metal is bedlam I think
Yes, I know it's not metal. But I'd say it's the closest you can get to the feel of Killing Floor by going outside the genre. Not that I'd say any other track by Justice or anything else from their genre fits AT ALL, but that particular track does IMO.

There's a lot of DnB scattered through different levels, which fits considering KF's saturated contrast with dark. Anything similar to Justice is an absolutely dreadful idea though.
I wonder why they're only showing DC Scully and Mr. Foster.
Because they're crowd favorites and there'd be a huge shit storm if they didn't immediately confirm them.

I know, but every screenshot with a player is just DC Scully and/or Mr. Foster.

And? Why show everything at once? You might as well be complaining about only showing off one map if you're going to say that.
howcome when games release cosmetic dlc everyones always up in arms about it but then killingfloor does it people just glance over it and say its fine
Nobody complained about it too much in TF2, CSGO, Dota 2, or Portal 2.
Because they weren't expensive or anything.

Two of the shots look like Masterson and Thorne.

He's been doing commercial work and movie stuff, so I wouldn't have necessarily guaranteed he'd be back.
I hope they make the specimen sounds/voices more disturbing than KF1 retail's.

Buttmetal is essential to Killing Floor. It would be like removing ridiculous plotlines from 24.

how does it feel to know your opinion is wrong
how does it feel to know your opinion is wrong
There's no wrong opinion, that's the point of an opinion.
I don't agree with Venrez, mind you.
There's no wrong opinion
he said killing floor has a punk screamo soundtrack, that's not an opinion, that's just being wrong.
Hope Agent Wilkes makes a comeback.

Am I the only one who liked the foundry worker skin? He's such a simple character caught in the middle of this mess. Support specialist is also my favorite class, so it only makes sense to pick him for my skin. Since I'm gonna be doing a lot of welding :v:
