Why cant we have notes for £1 like USA, im sick of having to carry coins
I kinda like having to lug a sack of heavy golden coins around, makes me feel like a pirate :v:
Use a card then :c
most places won't accept cards for really cheap purchases
Why cant we have notes for £1 like USA, im sick of having to carry coins
£1 coins are the bomb. I can jingle them and pretend I'm actually rich because they're kind of gold colored.

Also, is it just me or are £5 notes kinda crap? They always turn up scrunched up and not looking great, while the £10 and £20 notes are usually handled better by folks. Personally, I would be fine with us transitioning to £5 coins so you don't end up handling scuzzy fivers and instead have nice jangly doubloons that don't get all clammy and creased.

It never seemed to be empty. Awesome for the area as it's pretty student heavy. But it vanished a few months ago now, and everybody is pissed.
