I like Muse. Smoking on stage whle knowing it's not allowed is stupid though and shows that he has no self control. Especialy the "hiding in smoke" thing.
It's like those officials have never been to a concert before. EVERY band will tell you to mosh out, wall of death, or make human trampolines. Hell, I've even seen Beau Bokan (Blessthefall) do a front flip of an amp stack into the crowd, shit was sweet.

maybe it's not popular, maybe people just don't like Muse? Music is a subjective area, it's not suprising that some people would be averse to certain bands/genres
also, it's illegal to smoke inside most commercial buildings anyway.. i don't see how it's not reasonable.

Agree. I don't like Muse very much.
Some of Muse's music is alright, but I find they're just too theatrical and dramatic. Some of their music, namely on their shitty album, Origins of Symmetry (the album art looked pretty cool, but I was dissapointed)
It was just so fucking dramatic and theatrical, I felt liek it was an epic armageddom world ending soundtrack to some movie, but it wasn't. Just a bunch of wailing, crybaby hym-like lyrics. Fuck that.
