What's so great about it? It looks like a dildo some masochistic giant would use.
Iit isn't a monument that makes a town, but the quality and kindness of it's people.

honestly, i won't be suprised if it fall by another earthquake or so, as this monument will soon reached it's lifespan. However if they got the materials, they will make another one or rebuild it. It's a good thing they going to repair it, as this monument is another symbolism of the United States Wonder, similar to the Empire State Building, WallStreet, The World Trade Centers, and the White House.
A 5.8 earthquake wouldn't have this much effect on Californian buildings. It's kinda strange to imagine this damage happening since we're used to relatively common earthquakes at the San Andreas faultline.
say hi to cj for me
yeah, no, bit of an exaggeration there's no realm of possibility where the washington monument is anywhere near as important as the great pyramids
In the United States, George Washington is the most revered historical figure Americans know, and the monument dedicated to him is extremely important. Outside the US, this probably isn't half as important as a single block of the pyramids, but inside the borders don't underestimate how precious it is to us.
say hi to cj for me
saw it coming
Take a lesson from California and retrofit your fucking buildings people on the East coast. You never know how useful the structural upgrades would be until shit like this happens.
Quality and kindness in America? I'm afraid you must be mistaken for some other country good sir
Oh Christ not another anti-American person.
Aw fuck.. I love that thing.
ive been there in fallout 3, it held up pretty well!
Anyone who's been to Maine knows that America is fucking nice as shit and full of kind hearted people. assholes.
ive been there in fallout 3, it held up pretty well!
Apparently it's a lot more vulnerable in real life.
Well I don't think any atomic bombs landed near the monument in the game.
Take a lesson from California and retrofit your fucking buildings people on the East coast. In another 200 years when the next notable earthquake occurs?
;31931230']Thats kinda like saying it would be funny if the great pyramid exploded.
That wouldn't be fun, but if it imploded with a fart-like sound that would be hilarious.
