um, yes there was - it failed right before it actually launched.
On the Nasa TV site. Click the link on the top left. For public. There's the USTREAM direct link there, it never stops working, at least for me.
The Earth is very cloudy.
Had no problems with it here.
14,000 MILES PER HOUR?! WHAT
[editline]5th December 2014[/editline]
It just finished its first lap around the earth, what the fuck that's INSANE

And that's not even orbital velocity yet.
The ISS orbits ~17 200 miles per hour.

Welcome to space. The ISS, for example, travels around the world once every ninety minutes.
If you really want mind-boggling speeds, look up neutron stars.

What no?
Where did you hear this, because that's literally impossible.
A low earth orbit takes around 90 minutes.

Did they say that? It should take an hour to orbit once at its current speed.

I was told eighteen and fucked up the teen bit :v:.
Fixed nonetheless.
4 hours and 20 minutes in duration, this flight.
NASA really loves igniting up, huh

To add to the point, it's 92.81 minutes for the ISS.
Orions first orbit is planned to be done at T+1 hour, 57 minutes and 11 seconds.
(Currently at T+16 minutes and 20 seconds)
That rocket ate through 5,000 pounds of fuel a second. God dayum

These instant replays definitely need more cheesy sports-replay-esque graphics.
Fuck, I made lunch and missed the launch.
Anyone know if we are going to see the re-entry? I would love to see that for once.
Fuck me, I forgot about this and was asleep during the launch.
Aand I still missed it.
NASA uploaded the launch on youtube:
