Oh shi- Apparently a fire has been reported in the Turbine building of a Nuclear reactor in japan. Reported by some utility company.
This has got to be the most expensive earthquake/tsunami ever. I mean, the 2004 one didn't take powerplants and all of that And Haiti isn't expensive.
Oh shit. I just got done in a TF2 session that lasted a few hours. Kinda early into it, a guy said in the chat "Japan got hit by a tsunami." We kept asking him, but he never said if it really just happened. And now I find out that it did. Wow.
Wow me and a friend were just joking about how someone is bound to find out through a video game. It would have been even better if in the middle of the match some guy screams over the mic "FUCK THERE'S WATER FLOODING MY HOUSE FUCK FUCK FUCK"
God damn CNN videos of the Tsunami/quake aren't working.

Holy shit, I've just heard that the nuclear power plants in Japan are on fire.

No idea yet, the stream just said that, "warning, we have recieved a new earthquake report, please brace for impact" and repeats according to the stream comments, it was a light one, probably in the 3 range

Damn, this is horrible.
Now if only BBC and CNN videos worked.
Anyone see that big white van on the Al Jazeera footage when the wave swept the road? he actually drove into the wave and out the other side just before the bigger part of the wave came over the road..........What a Boss!
Where would I join here in the US to go help out when we do, after the water settles? This is a serious question. I've always wanted to see Japan, and I have a chance to help out people in distress. Anyone know? I'm dead serious.
Holy shit, I hope they are okay over there.
This footage is pretty much the Meat grinder I was talking about.
On the stream, they say there's no leak in the power plant
what happens if they're lying?
what happens if they're lying?
Nothing.
Argh, this is keeping me up all night, I can't stop watching/reading. This is terrible, it's all happened so fast.
The fuck, last I heard the Tsunami was going to hit Hawaii between 2:30 and 3:00 now that it's almost 3:00 they are saying it's going to hit 2 hours from now. I'm going to bed.
