just reported a ceiling caved in on 600 university students [editline]11th March 2011[/editline] it says they're returning to their jobs too but you guys are probably watching the stream
Hnnng :ohdear:
And the lesson learned here is: don't inhabit an area of land which is the meeting point of about half a dozen tectonic plates. It ain't gonna well.
source on the students?
the stream
source on the students?
Al Jazeera stream.
I heard about this on the radio while driving to school. Didn't think it would be THIS bad.
Dear god look at that water flow! Just sweeped that 18 wheeler clean off the road.
WOW FUCK THIS IS TERRIBLE. watching a huge fucking flood with shit and burning woods, even carrying a damn ship towards a car-filled road holy shit
The stream isn't working for me. No actual video is showing up just the rest of the page.
Multnomah County Oregon and Clark County Washington just got a Tsunami Watch. I live in Clark county. :ohdear:
Greetings from Polk county.
confirmed as a tsunami warning for Hawaii. hope it wonʻt be bad
Its one thing to wake up after a disaster has happened, its another when your watching it live. Fucking hell this is insane.
It's still going to take hours for the military to mobilize, reality is not many are going to see them come in time.
You can hope.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2011_Sendai_earthquake 3 confirmed casualties :(

Holy shit the Al Jazeera stream is showing a ship right now riding the wave in the middle of some random farm.
I bet the japanese are regretting making their houses out of paper right about now. Good thing they got all that water to put out those fires.
Just went on the stream. Good god. I don't care if the school minds, I'm watching this.
This is insane! I'm starting to think this is gonna happen to New York soon... Crap, the Al Jazeera stream keeps freezing up on me.
They are already issuing warnings for the west side of Vancouver island, mind you they won't see anything near as high as Hawaii is going to see.
Holy shit the Al Jazeera stream is showing a ship right now riding the wave in the middle of some random farm.
Look carefully and you can see people trying to out run it in their cars and on foot.
Good luck :(
I bet the japanese are regretting making their houses out of paper right about now.
the stream says their buildings are built to withstand this by bending the houses or something to make the impact spread out or something
They are already issuing warnings for the west side of Vancouver island, mind you they won't see anything near as high as Hawaii is going to see.
Reports? It will take bout 6 hours before it gets to Hawaii. They got time to get ready.
Holy shit, a burning building was being dragged over the land via the water shit flowing.
Reports? It will take bout 6 hours before it gets to Hawaii. They got time to get ready.
Confirming as we speak. Edit: No. That was a bad source and no advisory or warning has been issued for anywhere on the pacific northwest. Edit: Chilie however issued a bulletin for some odd reason. Reports issue that all Japanese reactors have successfully SCRAMed.
Have you guys seen the burning Oil refinery? Oh man that'll get bad.
8.9? I've never heard of a higher-magnitude earthquake :( edit: whos the jerk who rated the op funny
Reports? It will take bout 6 hours before it gets to Hawaii. They got time to get ready.
No reports, everyone is just on warning at the moment. Though 6 hours and unknown variables can make worse than anyone can prepare for.
In the clip that keeps on repeating, you can see a few cars trying to esacpe, but one of them is blocking the way. Why :gonk:
Confirming as we speak. Edit: No. That was a bad source and no advisory or warning has been issued for anywhere on the pacific northwest.
Any link? I looked and couldn't find anything for North America. I've heard them talk about Hawaii but nothing on the main land.
