Shit. I sincerely hope everyone is okay. Luckily Japan is pretty developed. They should be able to pull through this with little difficulty. I hope.
[editline]11th March 2011[/editline] Oh fuck, live pictures just cut in to watch a Oil tank explode. Fucking Mushroom cloud dude.
Link? NWS maps don't have anything except for Hawaii. http://www.weather.gov/
Phew, my family in Oregon is fine because they're inland far enough. My family in Washington though I think is still under a tsunami watch :frown:
I am unfamilar with Earthquake scales and how different environments react to big quakes. Is Japan gonna be "alright" or is this gonna make Japan a 2nd world county? And anyone got pics of the huge tidal wave that people keep mentioning?
Link? NWS maps don't have anything except for Hawaii. http://www.weather.gov/
This is where I found it: http://s4z.us/exp_warning.php?x=YUhSMGNEb3ZMM2QzZHk1M1pXRjBhR1Z5TG1kdmRpOWhiR1Z5ZEhNdFltVjBZUzkzZDJGallYQm5aWFF1Y0dod1AzZzlUMUl5TURFeE1ETXhNVEE0TURjd01GTndaV05wWVd4WFpXRjBhR1Z5VTNSaGRHVnRaVzUwTWpBeE1UQXpNVEV4TmpFMU1EQlBVaTVRVVZKVFVGTlFVVkl1WTJRME5UQTVNRGd6TlRabU0yVXlaRGc0TVRWaU9EZ3paRGd3WVdZMFlUST0= Holy crap that's a big link.
They'll be fine.
Thank you. We survived a 6.8 right under us, but I'm always worried about.
http://s4z.us/warning.php?ct=4437
Interesting. The National Tsunami Warning Center (NOAA/NWS) says nothing though. I guess we'll see.
